Dunno. He's stuck in Sacramento now, though, and that's as bad a punishment as I can think of for anyone
Sacramento will be good. Wait and see.

Jeez why isn't that type of deal available for randle?
Because he has a piss poor attitude and brogdon doesn't. That's why.

Dare I ask what makes him a superstar?![]()
What has he won? Does he average 30ppg? 15 reb? 10 assists?
Seems like the "superstar" label has suffered from grade inflation.
Superstars are people like Curry, Lebron, Jordan, Shaq, Kobe.
Not sure I'd even term prime Westbrook or Harden superstars, not when this is a league where a guy once averaged 50ppg in a whole season! Now that's a superstar.
And by the way, forget Mitchell and Sexton to NYK, no way we'll have a 6'1"/6'1" backcourt. I doubt anyone in the NBA ever has (or will).
What if we had sexton run the second unit off the bench. Same way the spurs did. His value contract wise has dropped. Him getting hurt set him back. Same happened with Murray. I believe his value will go up. Worst case he shoots you and we can move him for more value
Sure, but I can't see Sexton himself being content with 2nd unit.
My pitch to him would be increasing his value. Coming off the bench giving the Knicks consistent scoring power. Maybe 3 years at6-7 or 10 mil a year to set him up for a big payday. He has been super supportive of his teammates and being there despite being injured. Just an idea. Always wanted him on the Knicks rosters. Been a fan of his game and competitive spirit

It’ll certainly work for them. They’re doing what we should’ve done: get that type of player after developing their youth, not before.

I guarantee you Leon is slurping up some Zuppa di Pesce with a nice Fra Di Avolo sauce right now thinking about how he's gotten Brunson so he doesn't need Mitchell

F the Pacers for handing Brogdon to the Celtics.
Seems like teams love getting bent over by the Celtics in trades the past 15 years

Plus Brogdon is more of a plug and play that fits almost every team with skills teams look for, while PFs that don’t shoot well or defend don’t have a big market…plus the contract.

It also helps when teams like the Nets essentially gave them the core players they have in Tatum and Brown though. Teams don't help the Knicks out.
