I missed the game. The main notes I've seen are that Michael Carter didn't dress, so I guess he's safe. Mekhi Becton had a strong night, so I hope he enters the starting RT equation, and Bam Night had a rough night.

...saw the Zach Wilson run too. That was cool.

What makes that extra terrifying for me is that there have been 2 seasons where I recall feeling really great about the roster (once with Testaverde and once with Pennington), and both times the QB's got hurt early, and the season blew up.

I think with Brown back and Becton healthy, we'll have enough O-line protection from the starters. But that's a fragile OT structure and I fear for Rodgers if either tackle falls...I had hopes for Max Mitchell :cry:

Yeah. I remember both seasons. Pennington went down and then Feidler goes down soon after I'm the same game. Brooks Bollinger....ugh.

Garrett Wilson was doing the rounds on ESPN this week, that kid has a great head on his shoulders. Dude said he actually lost confidence in himself last year in camp having to go against Sauce every rep. He couldn't get seperation and admitted that Sauce was getting the best of him.

His confidence came back immediately once he got into a joint scrimmage and started burning the opposing DBs. Then he realized that the issue wasn't anything to do with him as a player, but it's just that Sauce is an absolute beast :lol:

He said now they talk after every practice rep to help work on their techniques. Iron sharpens iron

I'm not sure if it was Hard Knocks or One Jets Drive; but one of the series showed them talking after a practice rep. So that story is doubly fun to read/hear.

The timing definitely sucks. I was really looking forward to the red zone potential of having two big WRs in Davis and Lazard, plus a pair of stars in Garrett Wilson and Breece Hall. But I wish him well, especially with the NFL. Get your money and run in this sport.

I wonder if they'll look to add some WR depth.
