Roby - with 8 min/game to compliment Randle's 40 minutes.

Randle is a starting energy-destroying big

unless he is dribbling it in place or in a wild maneuver.

Not on the roster yet.

Hart and RJ did well in that role when Randle was out during the playoffs and it might have impacted the Knicks' thinking.

I understand saying that after the 2021-22 season but coming off this year I think sounds a bit dissonant.

Randle was good in the regular season. Played poorly in the playoffs again but played through a significant injury that required surgery.

Let's be real.

Maybe RJ.

We just signed Donte. I see a logjam at the smalls.

OK, let's be real.

If he was healthy enough to play in the playoffs then why was he a human turnstile on defense?

Yeah. But I think short-term the plan will be to play a small-ball 4 when Randle sits. Until they consolidate some of those assets in a trade for a star. Not that we have any other option anyway

There may be a Door #3. Like iHart last year though via trade. My gut tells me Quickley is out.

Randle should have been the one to be shipped out. Terrible.

He played lazy that is the BIGGEST issue of it all. You can play like sh*t if you play with effort, most Knicks fans would respect it. But when you're half assing it in crucial playoff games, thats when you lose me and you need to get off the team.

Plus its the 2nd playoffs where he played like hot garbage, he'd a mental midget who shrinks in big moments. If it wasn't for that one clutch 3(where he still almost lost the ball dribbling off his own leg) he would basically have no clutch shots made in his career.

Why couldn't we just keep him as an asset for a bigger trade?? I don't understand this trade at all.

It’s exactly what I said. Lamelo and Hayes were gone so I woulda picked Haliburton.

I’ll take the L on Hayes. But you are running victory laps about Obi when you were hyping him up like crazy and talking about benching Randle for him

you wanted to draft hayes over hali and edwards though. and i remember you were high on poku and okoro :o

i never denied i liked obi coming out of the draft. but once i saw him play as a rookie i knew he was bad goods. i said to ship him away after like 1 month of seeing him play

I was never crazy about Okoro. That was shams guy.

Poku was a mystery. I Wouldn’t have minded him with a later pick or 2nd pick to swing for the fences.

I would have picked LaMelo if we had a top 3 pick so didn’t really mention Edwards. I was also low on your guy Wiseman, and was higher on Maxey.…some misses, some hits. It was a crazy draft.

none of us are experts. its all for fun

You’re just being contrarian. Randle is not a good player.

I think it's more reasonable to say that you're being the contrarian here, by calling a guy who averaged 25-10-4, who was an All-Star and who made All-NBA in a winning season "not a good player".

I'm not a Randle fan but y'all always take it too far.
