I'm only point out that they could say screw it...we are going to get destroyed on the boards anyway...so lets take advantage of the boards we get and leak out and get easy baskets.

if that's the route they go things will get extremely ugly for them. They have literally no size, not 1 7 footer(Turner is 6'11), next biggest guy is the revolving door on defense. I see OG roaming around off his man tonight, Mitch on Turner and whomever is on halliburton should do everything they can to push him into the teeth of the defense.

Turner has to have a great series for them to beat us. Our bigs certainly don't like to stretch out to the 3 pt arc...my guess is the games Turner is hot from 3 is the games Indy will have a good chance beating us. To the point Thibs should look into playing precious at the 5 in this series to help with there bigs that like to shoot when our 2 centers really don't want to go out and guard.

I think NDOS mentioned when the playoffs starting when Indy was a potential matchup that we might be better suited with ihart or mitch guarding Siakam (not a good shooter). And then have OG on Turner...so that if they run that 1/5 P&R with Hali/Turner we can either hedge that and OG is quick enough to recover. Or just have Hart on Hali and OG on Turner and just switch that screen everytime and that limits what they want to do.

Yeah, I won't be surprised if we see that tweak as the series goes on.

Brunson: So what are you paid to do?
Hart: Run around like an idiot during the game and f*** s*** up!

agreed, we should see a lot of:

Mitch
Precious
OG
McBride/Divo
Brunson

so long as McBride/Divo/Brunoson/OG are hitting their shots they should have a huge +/- with this lineup,
with precious on Turner and Mitch on Siakam, we could get a lot of high screen and rolls with a lob to mitch.

The Knicks won't get any rebounds because the Pacers won't miss shots!

I'd try

OG on Haliburton
Hart on Siakim
Precious on Turner to protect him from shooting 3s

It'll be interesting to see who Thibs has OG guarding because he can guard Turner, Siakam, or Haliburton.

Stup my man…our defense won’t allow that.
Indy is soft - when they won the in season chip -you remember what teams did to them after the fact?

Hali is definitely talented and in his draft year I over looked him - but I did that because I didn’t think he would be a tough enough nba player. He had the opportunity to prove me wrong and so far he hasn’t.

This Knick team has Metal. They fear no one.

I can see this team allowing a Hali lead team to reach 4 games before we do.

The correct response is 'the Knicks will miss their shots so they will get plenty of offensive rebounds'...

Oh...and look at that original comment again...did you miss something?

If we can’t stop Halliburton pick n roll this series is over.

Pacers don’t have the size to give JB trouble so he will go off for sure.

We better not lose to these guys. We'd have to fire Thibs and Leon and start a rebuild.

McMahon shared the story again today about how DAL was dangling Brunson & the 18th pick to take Haliburton and everyone said no, including the Knicks, who were beyond excited to take Obi Toppin.

Wow… nice.

Indiana is a feisty team…

If we contest and rotate well all game and take away their fast break opportunities, we can stifle their attack to the point where they start to look lost.

Forcing Turner and co. to try to score in ways they’re not comfortable with (ie in the post or via dribble attack) is a good recipe to deflate them.

Stints of Precious, OG, Hart and and McBride could suffocate their attack completely for 5-8 min stretches. Hoping to see lots of that.

Brian Anderson, Stan Van Gundy and Chris Haynes will call Pacers/Knicks

Praise the Lawd! Imma mute the sht out of any game if/when they commit a crime against humanity by forcing Reggie Gollum Miller on us in any Knicks/Pacers postseason game. Dude is insufferable enough already, outside of the rivalry.
