Agree with this, the line up needs to change with hart out and Mitch in. We need to quit pretending josh hart is a 4 lmao it’s comical when we trot him out like he’s a big man.

Josh is a good player but not the right fit as a starter. He should be our super 6th man.

How about starting Deuce? I’d also consider Delon Wright who can provide some 3 and D. Anyway, I agree.

I mean look. It's pretty easy.

Start Mitch. Now Huk is available (or did I dream that?), have Mitch-Huk = 48min

Josh rotates in to divide time with OG, Bridges and maybe a little of KAT - who should take more 3s and post up deeper - and yes there will be congestion down low with Mitch-Huk in the dunkers spot - but confusion should be points for a cerebral player like the Big Bodega. And Brunson can get some relief from Delon - who's absolutely servicable for that role, rather than a little bit of a reach like Payne. And Deuce can do cover for the wings if foul trouble/injury/...

Now, Thibs is a maniac and should have had time in the reg season to make Tyler and maybe Pacome options for the 4-8min bench roles. But that ship has sailed for this year.

If I was Leon I'd still sack Thibs this afternoon and hire Tiago Spiltter.

Exactly! He has all the traits of a bench spark plug player and he is amazing in that role and will still play a ton of minutes. And it’s how we used him when he first got here and it worked great. His hustle and transition attacking could help lead our bench while the starters with Mitch have a nice plus minus to where maybe we don’t need hero ball all the time. To me it’s a easy sub but I’m not thibs talking to these guys like they are my kids everyday lol

People have been saying bench Hart since the Pistons series but not only was he a key contributor in game 6 vs Detroit but he was a huge contributor in the first two games against Boston and helped get us to even be up 2-1 in the first place.

Just like I didn’t feel they needed to panic against Detroit and make major rotation changes, I also don’t feel like it needs to be done now. The whole team didn’t play well last game and we still are up 2-1 so the time to panic or make major changes is not now.

I think it starts with Brunson, who has to be better offensively especially earlier in the games. Hes shooting his career worst playoff fg% in this series and we need him to be better. KAT also needs to be better, but with a broken finger I’m not sure how much better he can be. Mikal and OG need to be better as well but it starts with Brunson. Nobody is coming off the bench and helping those guys be better offensively and we definitely need to be to win this series.

Thibs gonna wait until we’re down 3-2 to start Mitch. I hope I’m wrong.

KAT broke his finger. We will likely see him playing with a splint

It’s literally the same injury he’s been dealing with all season and same exact answer he’s been giving all season. Hate click bait videos like this.

He may or may not have broken a finger on his left (non-shooting) hand.

Richard can be a troll because of the NJ Nets/Knicks stuff back in the 00s but one thing about him as a commentator is that he isn't is a shill or a liar. Any objective observer would notice the disparity in contact calls. Karl got hammered multiple times, no whistle.

The officiating was horrible. This is now 3 games where the whistle has been in BOS' favor.

What we cannot do is let our play slip like it did yesterday to compound the problem. Move the ball, communicate on D and commit hard to a switch. If someone wants to try to post Brunson up instead of a wide open 3, cool.

We gotta drag these fools into the dirt and make them earn every bucket

I don't think there needs to be any changes aside from getting Mitch into the game earlier than usual to play next to Karl. Josh would then come back in near the end of the Quarter to give Karl a rest.
