You are over-reacting here. Patrick Ewing >>> Jeremy Lin [for the history of this franchise]

and most important, you are comparing the most loyal player in team's history with the one who literaly will become the biggest traitor in the history of our beloved Knicks!!

I call BS. Dwight for Amare is a HORRIBLE trade for Orlando.

I believe that is true but how would we be able to afford him either way unless we also know that we have a taker for Amare and his contract?

Rockets found loophole that would cost them $8 million on third year of Lin offer sheet and Knicks $15 million, source tells Y! Sports.

WTF is this bull

for a team signing an offer sheet his deal would be 5, 5, 15.

but would be the average of all 3.

so rockets would have 8m on their salary cap each year whereas knicks get a 5m, 5m and 15m hit. that doesn't inclue luxury tax either.

There's no loophole :
- for the Knicks the actual salary is included in team salaries (if we match) and that salary is $15 million in year 3 ($5 million the first year and $5.2 million the second season)
- for the Rockets, it's the same saalry (average salary) all three seasons : $8 million.

No loophole. It's common knowledge when you talk about restricted free agents under the Arenas provision.

Felton deal with Knicks "not done," source said. Everyone confident it will be. There will be a meeting late tonight after last game.

Also they better not be trading any 1st round picks or Shumpert in that Felton sign and trade. That would make this even worse.

@NotBillWalton

By signing Raymond Felton, I was convinced that the Knicks will have no room for Jeremy Lin. Then I realized they're still the Knicks

Melo & Chris Paul walked through media room here in Vegas & Melo said, referring to CP3, "You'll see him in NY in a couple years."(smiling).

The only way this makes sense is cp3 told melo he's going to be a knick plus Fu*k Blake and la.

That's the only way I even see this making a little bit of sense.
