Why?

He said "The dynamics of the team changed." That's a poor excuse for anyone who calls himself a Man. I don't care who I gotta work with or play with, I'm a still do my best to produce with no damn exuces. He's a lil Sucka. And then Lowry over there smiling and giggling like he know what the lil sucka was referring too. Phuck both of those clowns!! That's why thev have been banished to Toronto.

The Knicks are capped out for the next 3 years regardless. The only thing this does is save Dolan money. It has no impact on anything else whatsoever. We can't sign anyone with the money we save. Not really understanding how letting a potential star leave for nothing to save a year's worth of luxury tax payments is a "smart" business decision. This is in no way comparable to Jerome James or any other long-term cap destroying contract. So there's no "insanity" involved in this process. The Knicks are letting a talent slip away for what amounts to Dolan not wanting to pay.

It's not about the money. It's about they had a deal with Lin and he used that to get more money.

Not saying what Lin did was wrong but it rubbed them the wrong way. And our management are the kind of guys who's ego needs to be stroked and Lin made them look dumb.

Again, where is this myth than Lin "used" anyone or anything to get more money coming from? Upset fans? Berman? Isola? Seriously...this is biggest crock of crap I've read on this forum. Do you not understand that there is no basis to anything you're saying? It's all garbage and not based on any facts at all.

This.

That's easy: Because they don't care about the fan base.

So then why is everyone so loyal? Why should anyone care about them if they do not care about the fan base? And why would someone get angry at another for switching? Just curious.

Did Landry Fields actually say his poor play had something to do with Melo??

He said his play suffered last year because the "team dynamic changed" ... everyone knows what he was trying to say.

:o

Wow. So guess the rumors of a divided locker room were true then. In that case, probably best for Knicks that LIn leaves. Otherwise, horrendous chemistry issues.

there are no facts.

Neither Lin or his agent, Rockets officials or Knicks officials have said anything.

And yet Lin "secretly renegotiated his contract to get more money and screw the Knicks" is all I read on here. All based on nothing but opinion conjured up from bitterness that the Knicks management (aka Dolan) is incompetent.

So, semi serious question.

To most sports news outlets, Jeremy Lin was flash in the pan for Knicks, not proven, mostly average except for one run.

How long, in terms of days after being traded to the Rockets, does he turn into Magic Bob Kung Fu Cousy Lin?

I say 3 days.

He got that contract because Colangelo is dumb.

Hence why is so is damn lucky. Only a lucky few can be given that much money from a dumb person.

I am a fan of the Knicks Facebook page and it was not even mentioned that we are not going to match Lin. You would figure that would be news. All they covered was the Summer League today. I mean it sounds like nothing when it is pretty insignificant compared to our biggest FA that they would only chose to focus on that.

Again, I am holding on to the tiniest bit of string like a few of you guys are too.

And they have the nerve to show their faces at the Vegas Summer League but don't offer any information to the fans, just strange.

Right. The only person affiliated with the Knicks who has said a word publicly today was JR Smith who no one takes seriously. When days before Woodson, Melo, JR, and even Chandler was reported to mention they either wanted him back or gave an interview.

This is just strange today. Again, it's most likely a whole lot of nothing but why the tight lips all of a sudden? Now if they do indeed match, I will be pissed that they trolled us this whole time but glad we can keep Lin and move forward. And I'll say this, I doubt we will ever deal with Houston ever again if it's true.
