Nooooo-brainer then.
We just got back a guy better than Gallo and gave up nothing much.

Barf was the first or second option in the first unit last couple of seasons. He was the 'go-to' guy in offense. He was allowed to take as many freakin 3's as he wanted in TOR. After his injury, he was changed to a role player who came off the bench and guess what...he still SUCKED.
How the hell would he be better in the knicks if hes playing with melo, chandler, felton, amare?
As you have alluded to, Bargs has been injury-riddled the last couple of seasons. Hopefully he is healthy and motivated, because if he is, I think he'll do much better in NY than in Toronto.
Also, just because a player has been not-so-good in one place, doesn't mean he'll always be that way. Chauncey Billups wasn't great before he arrived on the Pistons. Neither was Lin before he arrived on the Knicks. Not saying it will happen that way for Bargnani, but with health and motivation, he does have the potential to be better than he is.

RealGM is a very what-have-you-done-lately group of people. I understand that. But wait and see. Yeah he's coming off a bad season. Very bad. That's why he's available.
His peak was very good and he's in his prime years. And he has had some great games at MSG. He'll love playing in NY.
Much more reliable as the 2nd option if he can get back to form. Much more reliable than Just Regressed.
