Don't get defensive but how do you know Melo left Timmy open yet not know he had to rotate and cover Millsap then rotate back yet you a "missed a play" that doesn't add up

Because I was half paying attention at that point and I just saw him running out at Timmy. I could tell the ball was swung, but wasn't seeing the whole screen.

So I assumed Melo was in his typical outside defense mode, which is sagging far enough inside to not be an effective helper, while not being far enough outside to really contest the shot.

Sorry. I made an assumption based on the 100's of time did the prior.
