that team still dominates us tbh. garland was a +20 drummond was +18 okoro was pretty solid, Sexton and Love would have probably beasted

we beat up on lamar stephens, marques bolden, levi randolph, matt mooney, and dylan windler

You mock Dylan Windler?

How dare you

Why does Iggy never play? What's going on here?

Exactly. Who the F cares about winning games behind Drummond and Love? That’s actually a detriment to Cleveland and advantage for us. They’re like our Payton/Randle except better at basketball and paid much more.

I don’t like their kids. Mitch/Obi/Knox/RJ/Quickley plus cap space plus a top 4 pick in 2021 plus Dallas picks > Sexton/Garland/Okoro.

Not a fan of him but Sexton had All-Star level production last year.

Hahn: A guy who's got 8 consonants and one vowel. I can't pronounce that.

He's kind of a dick

Some verbal thoughts i noticed I was making during tonight's game:

1st half Knox: What the fuq is it that you actually do around here?

2nd half Knox: If you could just find it in you to play like this for 20 minutes a night you could scrap together 10 points and 4 boards every game. It's a mental issue for you. He has the body and shooting stroke to play in the league. He needs to grow up mentally. Good game but i've seen this trick before with him. I'm not going to get fooled again until he does this for 5-10 straight regular season games. Make me want to believe in you

Obi: I don't care about the scoring right now. I'm LOVING the passing instincts and the fact that he was a major plus in the +/-. Those are the things I wanna see from him. Everything else about his game will be there. All game 2 overreactions were predictably just that.

RJ: Going to be an All-Star in the East either this season or next season. Willing to bet a lot of money on that.

Quickley: Got some dog in him. Needs to learn how to take contact at the rim better and his shot is good but right now he needs too much space to get it off. That might limit his shooting ceiling. Loved the competitiveness though and on a team devoid of shooting at the guard positions he might find a role quicker than he thought.

DSJ: Im still holding out hope. He's genuinely been one of the best defenders on the team through these 3 games and he is competing really well on switches. Offensively it comes and goes. The decision making is still very sloppy but it's nice to see him hit a jumper every game so far. I think playing him without another ball handler out there is a recipe for disaster but if you attach him to the hip of Frank, Quickley, or RJ all of a sudden his game will pop a little more I think.

Randle: I'm taking the good with the bad here. Has his moments. Not a bad guy but I hope he's traded preferably for some shooting.

Elf - Ugh... ugly game

Mitch - Smarten up but still finds a way to impact the game. Something still feels missing there. Gut feeling says don't bet on the low IQ long term and trade him now but the upside is still there to legitimately be the best defender in the league. I'm still up in the air on him.

This team needs Burks and Rivers in the worst way for any semblance of shooting gravity

Obi was a lot better when he was rim running and catching lobs in that 4th quarter run than he was in the 1st half when they said go be steph curry

The real question is will powell izzy and co be given at least a chance to fight for their nba careers in the final preseason game. I believe we've seen every thing our regs are capable of by now

There were a couple of moments where Mitch could have tried to pop a 3 to ice the game but thought better of it.

He seems to play with a conscience which I like. We will see a 3 very soon I believe.

Best moment of the night was when he backed off the defender late and made him miss.

Personal preference.

Drummond/Love worse than Randle/Payton. I’d still rather have RJ > Sexton, Mitch > Okoro, and Obi > Garland. Knox and Quickley are just gravy. I think Cleveland has a better record than us in 2020 which means our 1st > their 1st, which is the only thing that really matters for either squad tbh.

The only thing I’d give them an advantage on is Comic Sans Serif > Jimmy Dolan.

At around the 29:10 mark, he answers my question: "Any locker room concerns if all the veterans get benched and all the young guys get the minutes?"

He was glad I brought it up and most of you will LOVE his answer so you should totally watch!

Thank you.

Actually a pretty solid answer from him and I agree it might be RJ as the leader moving fwd. he puts the work in, he looks like he’s taking that next step. He’s producing on the floor. He’s actually earned the title instead of having it thrust upon him. Knicks fans should be ecstatic with that response from Hahn.

Yeah man. Take it, RJ.
