He’d be our best guard immediately by a wide margin and it isn’t even close!!!!!!!!

We dropped the ball not going all in for him.

He basically only has to get the assist, cause his rebounding is automatic. He is the best rebounder on the team.

the assists are also automatic. honestly getting 10 points might be what takes the most effort and that won't take much either. he isn't even starting. wait until he starts getting starters minutes. he's making bismack biyombo look like a great center

Would you guys trade for Rozier? I can see the Hornets tryna trade Rozier or Graham (no thx tho) to start Lamelo.

Nope I’d rather trade everything outside of picks for Lamelo though :D

But seriously though I probably would but it would probably take Randle which at this time I would say no(I would revisit at the trade deadline though)

Deni drops 20-5-5 without the two chuckers in the lineup.

LaMelo looking big time too.

Set by Markelle Fultz of all people

He's about 5 months younger than Fultz was at the time, so if he gets one this year, he has it

Looks like he's much more progressed than I thought he'd be. Good for him, and good for Charlotte.

When I was tryna trade up with you I was gonna take Lamelo lol

Honestly, I never really had him top 2, but he was clear 3rd on my board

Just thought he looked really raw, but if his shot translated, he could be really good

Shame he's stuck backing up Matthew Dellevadova in Detroit though.

Technically it would be Tacko Falls backup

and he's not even the backup anymore

LaMelo looking like he's going to be a triple double machine with solid range.

I think they got scared this time, Maxey was the worse 3 point shooter of the two but he could dribble, so they went with the guy that can shoot, and I guess are going to try and teach him how to break down a defense.

maxey was taken before we had a chance to take him

We could have traded up to get him, teams were just tossing picks back and forth between 15-21.

The Obi pick has nothing to do with the fact that we just wasn’t aggressive enough to trade up for LaMelo.
I assume we will rectify that this draft and trade up by any means for Cade or Suggs

I don't think it's really too early to say he's a bad pick when you take into account we seem to be invested in Randle who plays the same position, drafting him also meant we passed on making a play for Wood, and it looks like there are younger players that would fit right into our current lineup that may be better (Deni & Hali).

With how badly we needed a wing or a guard passing on those players was just stupid, and it's going to look even worse when Obi is coming off the bench for the foreseeable future.

going into the season I wanted to trade Randle for Rozier, but now I'm thinking Randle could fetch more w/ how he's played

I'd actually be inclined to keep Randle, but we got Obi and I'm sure the FO wants to see their 1st ever pick succeed
