Exactly what the **** is wrong w this jackass? U publicly criticize Stanton and now his manager issues a warning to future free agents? Jesus there's turmoil in all NY sports it's so crazy...

Assman, **** Thibs, John Mara, Daboll & Co......... sheesh

Stanton's agent did.

Actually, nothing Cashman said was that bad. Now people know why most public people give completely vanilla non answers as much as possible.

Yea his agent responded to cashman's comments about his client.

"But I'm not gona tell u he's gona play every game next year bc he's not. He's going to wind up getting hurt again more likely than not bc it seems to be part of his game"

Who **** says something like that publicly regardless if its true or been the case over his career? A general manager of one of the most prestigious organizations makes a comment like that u think players don't read that and be like yo why tf is he even putting that out there like that.... that's foul af if I was Stanton I'd 1000% feel some type of way.

I'm the only one who thinks that was 1000% out of line?

When you’ve got one of the league worst offenses, you can’t ignore this and pray that he’ll give you a full 162. Especially when it never happens.

So u make that statement publicly? Cashman is a joke now. He's so inept and incapable of running a franchise it's pathetic. My how the mighty have fallen

Sorry to interject but is this like a big secret that nobody can see with their own eyes. I mean, just check Stanton's stints on the IL. It's almost like some of the NBA players who only play 2/3 season each year. Don't the Yankees have some kind of insurance policy against this? Moreover, ever since George bought the team, the Yankees that I have grown to know eventually eat their mistakes. That's what makes the Yankees, The Yankees.

Not just future free agents. So apparently Stanton’s agent represents a certain Japanese pitcher that is coming to America soon. Same guy who threw a no hitter while Cashman was in the stands.

You’re def not alone cuz clearly Stanton’s agent agrees with you  Maybe he went a step too far but I don’t think it’s that out of line to say you need to plan around a guy that’s injured all the time. We’re just seeing all of cashman’s bad decisions are finally coming to a head and the Stanton was is the last and most damning one left. How many big money, good players has Cash had to avoid signing cuz of Stanton’s terrible contract in the books? Might be the worst deal in baseball and he’s never been great while in pinstripes. We’ve all seen him run the bases, while being one of the worst hitters in baseball and know it’s only a matter of time before they have to designate him and eat like 90 million dollars.
I'm apart of a Knicks podcast! You Should check it out!

Oh he sucks now. Maybe he was ok 15 years ago or whatever, but not anymore. The comment helped or hurt nothing.

Still wish they'd get rid of him. Yanks probably need to fire the entire infrastructure of it's team, that's how much they suck.

Hal needs to clean house from top to bottom. All that bullsh*t that went on this year was a sign of a dysfunctional club. Training staff, coaches, analytics nerds, no one should be safe.

Cashman is the most pathetic GM in all of NY sports and Yankees in a way have become the most pathetic organization. Still unforgivable to pass on Bryce Harper not just pass but to have no meeting scheduled.

Crazy the Knicks are the more stable franchises in NY lol.

Keeping Judge happy and healthy is the goal.

The Yankees need new blood in charge. Cashman sucks his own cock and thinks that no one can see him doing it

I mean, ultimately this all falls on Hal's lap. The problem is, he can't be fired because he's a nepo baby

Really sucks that Sevy didn't work out. Mets with another Yankees castoff. Hope Sevy does well, though.

Can't say he didn't work out IMO. He gave us some really good years masquerading as a number 1 when he really was more of a 2-3. Post injury he was brutal but such is the life of a modern starting pitcher.

Usually a pitcher takes a year or two to comeback from TJS. I'm hoping this pays off for the Mets. The good news for Yankees' fans is that they'll get to watch him whenever he pitches. I have my fingers crossed.

Fair. It was just nice to have a pitcher actually do something after years of watching guys bomb. I was hoping he could have been here for his whole career.

What is the price of a one year rental of Juan Soto ? Yanks got Torres (top 5 prospect at the time) for Chapman.

Return to New York Knicks
