OG on defense is a mix of Pippen, Sprewell, Bowen, Marion and Kawhi... with elements of Rodman, George, Prince, Christie and Johnson
Brunson on offense is a mix of Hakeem, Ginobili, Iverson, Sprewell and Billups... also elements of Kobe, Dirk, Doncic, Melo and Pierce

No elements of Jordan?
What about Clyde Frazier?

I didnt go that far because he still not in Clyde's level and maturity yet...
and MJ is another planet... he was better than OG on defense and better than Brunson on offense... that special he was...
but yeah... he has also many things of both Clyde and Micheal... intelligence, IQ, footwork, leadership, fealessness, energy, positive presence, work ethic, concentration and willingness to do his best to succeed

I'm trolling.
You went a little overboard with all the comparisons.

I am not literalist nor delusional neither... its just a semi joking assessment of our two most special players and how newer generations learn skills and aspects of games of past stars and hall of famers... its all fruit of great work, sacrifice, comittment and resolute spirit

Brunson's paint footwork reminds me somewhat of Penny Hardaway. That move he torched Denver with last night was disgusting

Re: pg: we fleeced masai
Even among his believers, virtually everyone has said 'I didn't think Brunson would be this good.' Though not to the same (star) magnitude, it's starting to apply to Divo too.
His primary impact and boon to the team: he's been devastating from downtown. An absolute dagger. But more than that, his all around game has been better than expected. He sparks the team in multiple ways.
Wasn't sure replacing Grimes with him in the starting lineup would work. Thought we would miss and need Grimes' height and defense more, and he would be back as a starter in short order. Happy to be wrong about Donte.
Divo has gone from a 'solid' signing consensus wise to an awesome one. He's playing the best basketball of his career right now with career highs in FG%, 3pt%, and ppg, despite playing fewer minutes than previous years

Love how he DIDN’T say, “Everyone is trash but Hartenstein! Not only do our other centers not belong on our roster, but they should probably be in the G League.”

He had that one drive on Aaron Gordon that fooled Gordon but didn't finish. That would've been a highlight for sure.

Perk has been pro Knicks for a long time now. Stephen A was right to be worried about tired legs but, credit is due. Walking around with battered fan syndrome is understood but, let it go. Enjoy what's happening without being a prisoner of the moment...or the past. Are we gonna pretend he wasn't dead wrong about iHart? Are we gonna pretend he wasn't dead wrong about the DM non trade? Stephen A has been a cartoon character of a Knicks fan forever. Most of the time he's dead wrong and never admits it after the fact.
The ECF is clearly within our reach. After DECADES!! Why not enjoy the ride?

One thing to worry about...the Knicks don't do load management...fatigue will eventually creep in...

Even after a win like this there's always something Knicks fans find to bicker about...heck even Thibs is smiling after this one.
Screaming A Smiff is the most insufferable Knicks fan of them all and he is emblematic of the unhappy Knicks fan but shouldn't be the representative of the fanbase in the media.
