Hot take: Mikal Bridges is damn good, but not that good. Dare I say overrated?

He's not 1st or 2nd option good but pretty good as a 3rd or even 4th option and is a plus defender. The Suns were so close as a championship team when he was there and he was pretty much that for them.

More importantly, he has been the most durable player in the NBA so far playing in 425 consecutive games. How many players can we say have played in 400+ straight games?

Brooklyn should have taken that deal. In the next 1-2 years, it will become even more apparent that Bridges is exactly your take. Meanwhile Jalen Green is young enough to turn it around and become a much more efficient scorer with the right group of people around him.

The real question is... Will Masai give him the 5 years $120 million deal that Quickley is looking for?

When IQ was with the Knicks everyone was saying how could they give him up. IQ's value is declining while OG is going up. Maybe just maybe that it is the Knicks winning and masking flaws.

Nah, he’s an RFA. As long as the Raptors claim they’ll re-sign him, they’ll be able to drive down the price, like the Lakers and Reeves.

He’s gotta play better though. He seems to be slumping with his inside game. I got faith though…he can put it together, just like he always has. Best Knicks draft pick in a long time, most improved Knicks draft pick in a long while.

When IQ was here he was 6MOY material. That's his best role. When he started making demands he punched his ticket outta here. OG for RJ and we keep IQ? This would be a sick team.

In don’t think IQ is great as a backup either. He doesn’t vary his shot selection or switch gears. He’s kind of pre-programmed and lacks dynamism.

It wasn't that long ago that we were too. 3.5 years from 21 wins to the top 5 in the conference 2.5 of those years. Multiple All Stars. Massive pick haul. Wild.

IQ is a sixth man. Making him the starting PG is a mistake.

He'd have been fine staying as our 6th man, but he wanted the limelight.

The problem for IQ is he got the limelight as a starter in Canada when he could have been a 6MOY star under the bright lights of Broadway.

He got what he demanded so I don't really care that he's not a Knick any longer if he could not accept his role

They look a step up from last season… may make an ECF push!

I still feel like we match up real well against them. All they added from last year was Strus. If we have Mitch back and a healthy Randle and OG, I still don't see Mobley and Allen being able to be a factor down low. They will still get pushed around. So it will come down to Mitchell vs Brunson and we already know who wins that battle in the playoffs. Garland would be their X factor but he can be exploited on defense.

If Mitch is back we could crush them with a healthy OG. And Isaiah's D went to another level since then.

Mitch alone steamrolled their frontline, but OG would really mess them up.

And if Randle shows up and plays D we'd really cook them.

Not that worried about the Cavs.

Just want a Top 4 Seed so we can meet Boston in the ECF.

ill give raps fans this:

they seem smart

took them 20 games to figure out what some Knicks fans couldn't figure out in 3 seasons.

IQ is not a pg. he's a slashing offball SG that's best suited coming off the bench because he's a good on-ball defender but only against PGs.

Many of us said he was a great 6man. It was his perfect role. Oh well. Not our problem they needed to start him. Maybe he gets better with time.
