They really have us beat in every aspect really. The hope for us would be more about Boston falling apart due to age and contracts etc. rather than us elevating to their level. Can a team with 2 defensive liabilities even realistically beat them?

I would even add that Mikal is a defensive liability against Boston as well. Tatum cooks him every time. But I agree with your whole post. Every player on Boston’s starting 5 can shoot and play high level defense. That already put us at a major disadvantage and allows them to exploit us pretty easily. That’s a roster issue.

I'm a Bucks fan but I would love to know if those fans who talked a lot of smack with this Knicks roster are still rooting for this team. Mikal just had two back to back clutch steals btw.

You have a point and I can’t help but laugh at this being bumped by a non-Knicks fan, but I think we’re currently trying to keep it civil around here. I will. Anyway, regardless of what happens going forward, it is now safe to say that all the acquisitions have been well worth it and I’m glad I personally never doubted that. This is what they were brought in for.

I really don't get why posters are being scrutinized for opinions that they held weeks or months ago. Nobody was acting like this team was a contender when we were getting our tires taken off by playoff contending teams all throughout the season. A couple of come from behind wins against a tough Celtics team and people quickly jump on the "I was right along" bandwagon.

It's all in good fun. We still suck but Boston is choking their season away through chucking, bad coaching and KP being out with vaginal soreness. :lol:

Even if the Pacers dumpster us next round peeing on Boston is enough that I'll eat some crow from my usual adversaries here.

All I see when I look back is that I have passion, and I'm right a lot even when I'm wrong, for example I said we need to switch more on defense and Josh has to hit the three for us to compete 8-)
