F Lebron, I wouldn't even want this. Maybe some of you would say, title at all costs, but it would almost not even feel like a Knick title. If KP/Melo win one, I will feel like the Knicks won. It just would feel wrong with those guys and their stupid dream of finishing their careers together,

I can't do a whole year of this. If anything GM LeBron will clear out his buddies on the Cavs and CP, Melo, DWade, and LBJ will be mobbing out in one or both of the cool spots in Cleveland.

first. he's assuming we're not gonna sign anyone to a contract that goes past this year ? how the hell are we gonna do that ?

real talk. this was desperation. i've been saying, the time is over for patience with phil. he was gonna get shut out again in free agency again. he had to swing for the fences now. and this was it.

I agree. Thank you for Krispy, now it's time to get you back on the West Coast where you've so clearly wanted to be this whole time. Have fun running your three-sided experiment out there.

It might go down and one the biggest steals in NBA history. I dont want to gloat, but man this could turn out to be real big for NY

KP carries so much swag already after only 1 year at 20 --- D-Rose mentioning him in last line of his letter and going on about him during news conference. You wonder if some of the new FA's may have that same feel about KP.

He did. And he didn't trade and first round picks in the process. He may be the unicorn that can mix the future/present that has always plagued this team. Or Rose will turn into dust and we'll just get a high pick.

I’m 27 years old — there’s still so much ahead for me. I really believe this trade is a blessing. After all of the emotions passed through me, I started to realize how pumped I am for what comes next. I’m going to be playing alongside Carmelo Anthony and Kristaps Porzingis. This is an amazing opportunity. I can’t wait.
I’m ready for New York.

We welcome you with open arms. Basketball Gods shine on the Knicks for once please.

of course health is the factor. From my understanding many Bulls fans wanted to give him one more year to see if he can turn the corner.

There is no mixing the present and future. Netw3rk wrote an article about this trade centered around the saying, if you chase two rabbits, you're going to lose both. We can't rebuild and contend at the same time.

if rose can play very well, not great, and kris takes that next step and melo stays healthy, you might have something. you need that all to go right though. but the knick's plans go left often. pray to your gods.

Thought the same thing.
Kinda crazy to think he's captured this much respect so soon. Not even in his 2nd year in the league yet.
Either players are gassing it for media purposes or they're really believing in the Zing

Well, the Knicks always have bad luck and Phil is a lucky SOB. So something's gotta give.

But if "something" is a second round exit that leaves us with pick #22, a 33-year old Melo, and Rose on a different team, I don't want it.

You can tell Rose is hungry.

Hungry to prove doubters like myself wrong, and hungry to win. I felt that interview. Came off as real.

Phil needs to do a good job filling out the roster. We can surprise people next season.

NBA players aren't stupid when it comes to their own. They know that KP is special, and players will want to play with him. He is awesome at basketball, works hard, and will make the game easier for others around him
