League sources say Billups is only interested in leaving DEN if it means playing for a winner. Buyout a real possibility if he's sent to NJ.

Mhm.

 So Billups is smart enough to realize that that ain't a winner that'll be in NJ but Melo isn't?

I did I ended making more in the long run when I got into IT but I took a 10 k pay cut to get into IT. Some things are more important then money.

I actually passed a job that paid less but could have given me the opportunity to rise rapidly. I went with the job that paid more. 10 years later, I'm still regretting it.

I went from being a picking up oil spills on the ocean making 45k a year to doing store support for Cingular wireless in IT as a contractor back in 2000 I then went to work for a company (I met Rich in Vegas) doing on site support for Kiosks and now work for a company doing database and software support for cruise ships. So I like to think I held my morals and went for happiness and still ended up making my money without the hardship

I for one want this over one way or another if we get him great if not no biggie between Wilson and Gallo we will be fine the question would be where do we get a starting big man and back up pg in one move. In Donnie I trust I know he has 3 other moves already lined up and it would not hurt 2012

I would jump for joy if we got Melo. I am in the camp of trading whatever it takes to get him. But it is not just one person reporting this. Guys like Marc Stien are not going to make stuff up just to rile up us fans. Maybe it falls apart but it seems to be real close but who knows i hope it falls apart

Melo has taken 2 shots and has 3 fouls in 16mins he's been on the floor. PROTEST!

It's clearly affecting him.

you do realize the media get their info from somewhere right? maybe their sources arent reliable or have agendas. thats what happened last time, these guys are mouthpieces for the agents and teams involved. if you dont think thats true you're pretty naive. the info being put out there is put out there for a reason, sometimes its false, sometimes its the truth.

"multiple sources" have already reported twice that the Nets were just about to get Melo and they were right then as well right?

Thats all true and deals that are in the media this much before they happen rarely happen . Maybe you guys are right . It does not make sense for him to goto Nets if he wants to win that for sure

Your not seriosus. My brother. Melo and Chauncey are on THE SAME TEAM remember? He oviously went up to Melo before anything and said yo don't gp to NJ, cuz I'm not. Why would Melo who loves Billups go to NJ knowing he'll just leave? And Richard Hamilton is basura now. He won't get anyone to the top and lets not forget that he's 32 and he wont get any better. Whats with the Nets and trying to surround Melo with bums? By the by, If the Nets do this deal theirs no chance they'd ever be relevant. They're giving up their PG, their top stud and 2 picks for what? A player who wants nothing to do with you? If not for tmpering Melo should call Jay and say yo I'm not goin to Jersey so just stop it.
