Dragic even has playoff success under his belt, and please don't let me touch that 85%.

I don't really care about the Melo v. Durant thread.

HBC you spent hours defending Lin with little video snippets and such after he got hurt and now you go out of your way (because I assume you have better things to do) to talk badly about him. You just can't let it ride?

I don't get it... And if I'm Lin I'm still not playing in the Miami series with millions of dollars at stake especially knowing now that Dolan wanted Lin to take less money. That series was a lost cause... surely the little d-leaguer couldn't have done anything about it.

Get out... get some sun.. go shoot some jumpers... grab some coconut juice when you're done to rehydrate.

How am I talking about Lin? By saying Dragic is better?

And feel free to hunt my posts down, I absolutely had an issue to Lin not playing, go look.. feel free.

But I've also supported the kid and absolutely loved Linsanity.

So here's the difference...

You think Lin is immune to criticism, I get on everyone when warranted.

The fact that you're comparing a little no name D-leaguer to Dragic speaks much more for Lin than it does for Dragic.. you get that right? Or is that too complicated for you to understand?

So because Lin was in the D-League and not much was known about him he doesn't deserve to be compared to other second tier guards?

Your argument makes no sense. Goran Dragic isn't this first round projected allstar that had all the spotlight on himself he fought through the ranks from the bench just like Lin did.

This all stems from the fact that you're frustrated I put up factual evidence on how Goran Dragic is better, yet you're trying to prove a point by diminishing Lin. He's not a little no name D-leaguer anymore the comparison is fair.

How is he immune to criticism when I've criticized him myself?

The 85% thingy wasn't a pretext for a cheap shot about some idea that came straight off of a NYC radio station or one of NYC's fine scholarly periodicals?

Do you want me to go find the 85% thread and we can visit what each of us said about the situation when it was actually going down.. before it hit the tabloids? If what you said then is consistent with what you were about to say today then all is good. I know what I said.. what did you say.. play or don't' play?

No... I think I specifically said it's not quite fair to compare a guy who is going into his 7th year to a guy who is going to his 2nd year.

I don't get what's so hard to understand about this lol.

NBA experience means A LOT...5 years of experience does a lot for a player's development.

What are you talking about? Goran was drafted in '08 and didn't even become a starter until this past year.

That doesn't mean he is not more experienced than Lin is. You still get the same player development coaches, strength training coaches, practices, etc. Dragic also spent a few years learning from Nash...do you know how helpful that would be to ANY point guard?

Even though he just became a starter this year, he has A LOT more experience than Lin does.

Don't do this to yourself, Lin won't be on the court this season.

Even in the second round, I would not risk it.

Down 3-1 why would you risk further more severe injury...which could hamper the team next season and beyond...I guess those knee injuries to Shumpert, Davis, or Rose didnt happen...SMH

no need to quote the rest but there was a flurry in there.

Dragic was only slightly better than Lin last season, despite having much more NBA experience. Since Lin is younger and has been improving at an exponential rate, I expect him to pass Dragic very quickly, possibly by the middle of next season.

So 85% healthy (which is a totally subjective number.. how does someone come to the conclusion they're 85% healthy?) after knee surgery is where you draw the line and think a guy should play?

Here's another 85% slew of nuggets......

Actually it sounds like Lin is trying to spin that shyt.

He can cut some but can't jump yet is 85%?

I didn't think he'd help and wanted him to get 100%, but that clear up sounds pretty much like back pedalling.

Nope. Most didn't want him to play even if he were cleared to do so, because most likely it would not have changed the outcome of the series.

Once he threw out a number on his health, and that's when perception changed.

Even he recognized he should not have said it, which prompted him to clarify.

A simple "I'm still on schedule" would have been sufficient.

Yep, similar to the media asking Stat about Nash.

Yeah I hated that 85% comment, and the clarification really made me look at Lin differently.

But Istill supported the kid, but did not like the comment at all.

Hey I'm going by what he said, and I'm showing you of such.

If he was done, then don't say a word and be done.

I had no issue to him sitting out before the playoffs began, but once Lin threw the number out the perception changed.

Now that that's established, next topic.

Your perception of a guy you don't know changed when he tried to put a number on how healthy he was when asked? What if he would've said 75%... would that have changed your mind?
