Watching all these other tanking teams we are competing with I'd say we have the best core out of all of them. We don't get enough credit for that.

Dream on, Lee has an extra year and no way they kill their max slot for Lee.

Chicago should get the credit. They have considerable talent but look like absolute ****.

I forgot they have Jabari Parker, maybe injuries is a big reason for the record? I'd have to see them play together healthy.

Parker, Lavine, Lauri, Dunn, Carter Jr, Portis vs KP, Knox, Mitch, Trier, Frank, THJ, (Vonleh). Their core looks good on paper but I like our potential. This year's pick may be the deciding factor.

Yep. Which is whey we're 5th currently and likely will remain there. Unless the Bulls get it together.

given durant's recent comments about bringing back basketball to seattle in a part ownership position, makes the dolan backed renovation of Seattle's Key Arena all the more interesting.

When I was first trying to break into finance (bad timing due to the Great Recession), one of the interviews I had was with a firm who served NFL players only. At that time, there was a rule where you had to put a certain percentage of your contract into a retirement plan and they were one of the folks who were authorized.

I always wondered if the NBPA did the same. Why the hell do you need loans with interest when you’ve at least made 8 figures during your playing career? Get these guys in with someone to help manage their money and who can make their money work for them. Not some idiot friend they grew up with who’s only trying to get a free ride.

Because they want more money up front to make a large investment.
