The Boston Celtics are expected to offer a trade package to the New Orleans Pelicans for Anthony Davis this offseason built around Jayson Tatum, Al Horford, Marcus Smart, Robert Williams and up to three first round picks.

The Celtics cannot trade for Davis until the offseason.

The Los Angeles Lakers are offering Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Ivan Zubac, Josh Hart and two first round picks

Can the Knicks beat that Celtic package? I would think we would need a top 2 this year (Zion or Morant) to have a chance.

Funny that I'm sitting here sipping on coffee more or less unconcerned with how this deadline goes. Sure I'd like to see Von and Muddy moved for something but the reality is we made our most significant move(s) already. We tanking great, we cutting the kancer, putting on the shades and focusing on the summer.

Meanwhile LAL and Boston drown in sweat until July.

the good thing about being in the knicks position is that they don't have to get anyone. they can just tank again next year and continue to rebuild. it's why trading kp was not the worst thing for the future. with him signed and back we would have to get someone or be stuck in the middle. we don't need anyone now. it would be nice but we can just go on without them. the lakers need davis because nobody else really wants to come. the celtics need davis because they gotta keep kyrie happy/get better.

If AD really has the Knicks as 1a/1b on his list, then I hope the Celtics pull off a trade for him this offseason. Let him play 1 year in Boston and then come sign with the Knicks in 2020. That way we get to keep all our assets and he comes to a stacked team.
