I think this idea you will eventually get a superstar in FA on a bargain just ins't going to happen. While much of the league in a couple years is going to be a FA you will also have all the top teams clearing all that space with those players bird rights as well with most likely a better FA rating. I don't see anyway teams like you and even me will be able to poach FA's in 2 years without paying up.

If you are going to dumpster dive then sure I'm sure you will get a couple good deals but you still need top end talent to win.

Yea, a lot of good teams keep getting better. Quarantine life is not good for my patience though.
