yeah, rhodey has some real explaining to do. if these bucks are in a dog fight with harden out they would get dog walked if the nets were full strength.

can't believe in the bucks until giannis learns how to shoot.

The stalest chip in the history of chips, but a chip nonetheless.

huh? over barely up in the first half you conclude to this? lol. are you new to basketball? you dont just assume you can clump stars and guarantee a chip, look at history. whoever comes out of west is winning.

Well history says I'm never wrong so if that doesn't persuade you I guess I need to work on my leadership skills.

clearly you dont know history then.

It's exactly what I thought it would turn into, a shootout... And I don't like the Bucks' chances playing this high scoring style. Durant and Kyrie could quite possibly have a tandem 40 point 4th quarter and the Bucks will be looking for Khris Middleton to respond.

Yes. They are in a shooting slump. And I think it's not due to a tight defense.

Should be rusty + nerves.

the history of the nba is that the team with the best 2 or 3 players wins most of the time. people love to act like it's more complicated than that when it almost never is.

I hate that pistons team that won in the 00' so much everyone romanticize that team and it was a f'ing outlier. that **** happens in disney movies not real life. starphucking wins not the best team.

Ehhhhhhhh...I don't know man, guys at the hospital for an MRI. He missed a month last time.

And now Kyrie and Durant play increased minutes at playoff intensity. Nets still have a great shot, but at least they have now taken a hit like the rest of the field.

Oddly enough, the Bad Boys team was kind of like that too.

But if you don't have one of the best players it's kinda your only long shot.

they still have the best pair in the playoffs. they still are the frontrunners WITHOUT harden.

The Bucks have pretty much the same 3pt shooting ratio and frequency as The Nets. And they play D.

bucks aint really sh*t. embiid is gone. lakers are gone. if the clippers make it i'll give them a chance. the rest of the west ? nah. it is more fair though if he doesn't come back. you're right about that. they could have harden, dinwiddie and aldrige on this team also if not for injuries/sickness. those 3 guys and any g-league team would sweep the knicks in the playoffs and people wanna talk about don't trade for stars.

i'm not wingo's age so i'm not super familiar with 80s teams. but weren't most of them 1 star teams except for the lakers with kareem and magic.

Mchale was nice but was he a star? Dumars was nice but he wasn't really a star either, eh.

but like I said that is before my time. so i'm not sure

People forget, that Pistons team also had insane offensive weapons...

Billups was an incredible shoot first PG with ice water in his veins, and Rip Hamilton was the best off ball 2 guard at running off of screens in history this side of Ray Allen.

Oh yeah, they also had Sheed and Ben Wallace swallowing every single rebound.

The game was also very different in '04 and Shaq was on his downside + the team was severely lacking in depth... A lot went into that and I don't think it's easily replicable in 2021.

Problem is the Bucks' best player only shoots UFOs so down the stretch it's really about 3 top 15 players in the league (2 if Harden's hurt but that doesn't change the point) vs 2 fringe/second-rate All-Stars.

The Nets are gonna win the next 10 championships. Dark times we live in.

I think without Harden the Bucks are the favorite in this series. The Nets big two playing heavy playoff minutes is a big deal to me, and the Bucks have the better defense (of the ever style in, who knows).

I'm definitely not saying that the Nets are somehow a borderline playoff team without Harden or anything.

Bucks are Knicks level cold shooting in this game. It's depressing. How do you get shook by this atmosphere?
