Oddly enough, the Bad Boys team was kind of like that too.
But if you don't have one of the best players it's kinda your only long shot.
People forget, that Pistons team also had insane offensive weapons...
Billups was an incredible shoot first PG with ice water in his veins, and Rip Hamilton was the best off ball 2 guard at running off of screens in history this side of Ray Allen.
Oh yeah, they also had Sheed and Ben Wallace swallowing every single rebound.
The game was also very different in '04 and Shaq was on his downside + the team was severely lacking in depth... A lot went into that and I don't think it's easily replicable in 2021.
