I don't want him fired off of one game. I watched him in Chicago and New York. Giving the ball to Brunson, playing his best players as many minutes as possible and watching KAT be bad defensively is not something that can't be replicated by other coaches.
I just want to hear about the things the best coach in the league for this team does from a game to game basis. So the only thing Thibs could do with a fatigued team was to run an 8 man rotation and watch the team struggle? That was how he gave the team its best chance to succeed or did he do something else that game? Help me to understand his value please.
Whatever he’s been doing has worked ever since he’s arrived. We have basically overachieved every year and currently still have a good record. The way you talk you would think we were terrible each season. Every coach needs good players to succeed so I’m not sure what issues you have exactly with what we are doing considering our personnel. Look at the Warriors without Curry, they have looked like a lotto team in all games Curry doesn’t play and it’s been like that for years because he is the system and currently they are getting killed by the Hawks without him. Every team has coaches that fans think could do better but reality is every coach needs great players to succeed. So yeah our system is based around Brunson so obviously if he’s not playing we aren’t the same team. That goes for every team around the league. So again, how are we getting better? Still haven’t answered that question all you have said is you want him to do something different but nothing that suggests we would be better
Ummm. No. We should not look like a lottery team without Brunson. We should not be getting beat by lottery teams who are actually missing their best players either. You can spin whatever you want as Thibs lead defense lawyer but, this idea that we should look like a lottery team without Brunson is pure BS.
