PG: fake contenders

I'm a Bucks fan but I would love to know if those fans who talked a lot of smack with this Knicks roster are still rooting for this team. Mikal just had two back to back clutch steals btw.

I really don't get why posters are being scrutinized for opinions that they held weeks or months ago. Nobody was acting like this team was a contender when we were getting our tires taken off by playoff contending teams all throughout the season. A couple of come from behind wins against a tough Celtics team and people quickly jump on the "I was right along" bandwagon.

Whether it was a Bucks fan or Knicks fan is besides the issue. Bumping a thread entitled "Fake Contenders" after the Knicks win two important playoff games invites scrutiny. And it is not just this particular thread that I was referring to, it is the "Thibs Needs to Go" one as well. Having more than half a dozen posters act like they knew Thibs was this great coach after being nowhere to be found throughout the season comes across as trollish.

IMO bumping this isn’t unfair at all. And KnicksGadfly is certainly right. I would’ve said the same but I wasn’t going to take this any further. It’s all good, but this is only fair.

You have a point and I can’t help but laugh at this being bumped by a non-Knicks fan, but I think we’re currently trying to keep it civil around here. I will. Anyway, regardless of what happens going forward, it is now safe to say that all the acquisitions have been well worth it and I’m glad I personally never doubted that. This is what they were brought in for.

Julius was better than KAT offensively at the time and still is, he just started this season coming off a major injury. Kat trying to post up looks like a joke compared to Randle, same with his defense.

Also I was right about the bench. It was our biggest weakness the entire season. Did the Knicks get better? They're basically in the same exact spot as before.

Nothing personal, I just thought that meme was funny, and that my comments were correct.

I think this team still needs a major piece to be a title contender, that 6th man type of player. The bench has been mostly ****, offensively. This is why the team didn't really take a big step forward this year. We gained Bridges, a really good player, but lost bench production, post up game and interior defense. I think most of us knew this going in.
