Honestly, I got no faith in this bench. Play Mitch some at C.

Give the rest of the starters 48 MPG

Just let other people cook in the beginning then he will have more space later in the game.

Other people can't cook early If Brunson isn't applying constant pressure. He's the only creator on the team.

We go as far as Harts 3pt shot

Brunson doing his thing opens up everything for the rest of the team though. He doesn’t need to change anything.

Brunson and KAT are big shot makers

If the game is close in the last 2 minutes against any team, we have a chance to win because of both of them

Similar to how we're seeing a small rise in APG for Brunson in the playoffs. Both guys doing what's required to win. :D

Hopefully OG and Mikal can hit some shots next game. That would help a lot. Both played solid defense today at least

That is certainly the ceiling raiser for the team this year, all things being equal everywhere else.

I saw foul after foul against our Knicks that WERE NOT called! I don't want to hear Detroit's whining!
This series has woken up this group. I just hope Mitch is activated before the Cavs series. He doesn't look like he's settled in yet.
Everyone was playing well for the most part.

As far as Thibs...I think some of you are missing the point. I for one - love Thibs- respect him-think he's a great coach. However, the league has changed and you can't win a chip with a 7 man rotation. In game 4: Mikal 44 minutes, OG 39 minutes, Towns 40, Brunson 39, Hart 42 minutes, Deuce 19 minutes, Payne, Shamet and Mitch combined for 17 minutes--thats on Thibs for not developing his bench. This ultimately put him in the position to essentially play only 6 guys.

And finally, we have a ton of offensive talent but don't have an offensive mind to maximize that talent.

These are the reasons I think Thibs has to go.

In the beginning of this game he was setting people up before he got to work. Everyone had open 3s. That also kept him fresh for late in the game. When Towns had a good game in game 3, that helped a bit with those Brunson drives at the end. He should definitely iso but it shouldn’t be the only thing.

Last year, I get it. But with KAT, I don't see the point of it. KAT should be getting more FGs imho. That 3 from way downtown is proof.

Absolutely. The two KAT shots was him bailing out the Knicks with incredible shots b/c the play was Brunson ISO, getting shut down and we had almost no time left.

We got realy lucky we have such an incredible offensive player like KAT to make those insane shots. We never had that before as a 2nd option probably my entire Knicks lifetime.

One day if we get a new coach who doesn’t do this nonsense, ppl will suddenly be like oh yeah Thibs was insane for running offense like this. It’s only b/c he’s the Knicks coach now that they ignore it. It’s no different than Mike Woodson ISO Joe

4:28 for those who want to spam the KAT three lol

It was definitely a bail out. OG looked sloppy here. And I honestly don't think anybody else on the roster can hit this shot.

I believe they could only challenge if something was called
But there was no remaining challenges since they burnt one in the first quarter

Applying constant pressure and just isoing to score are two different things. In this game, he started setting people up.

Yeah, I just wasn't sure if it mattered if they had a challenge or not in that situation since there wasn't a foul called, an out of bounds or a goaltending violation.

Yeah... Ima be honest. I hardly watch NBA ball outside the Knicks and a couple of other teams. I definitely thought KAT was just going to be a Randle 2.0 stat padder. And I also thought he was going to be soft. But he's been great all around.

I'm not gonna sit here and do KAT revisionist history. He played very soft during the regular season. Defensive decisions were mind boggling. But I will give him credit with the way he's played in the playoffs minus game two. He's taken his game to another level on both sides of the court.

Thought you meant iso to shoot. When I say for others to cook, just meant to take some shots.

He’s looking to score but if they double him he’s going to hit the open man

The best part of Brunson going Super Saiyan in the 4th is that all of those hoops were ethical. The national media narrative ain't going to be able to do much with that.

Being able to retire some KAT narratives is quickly approaching too.
