mpharris36 wrote:the last few mins were amazing but that was some of the worst 4th qtr basketball I have seen.

what did we have 9 pts in the qtr with just about 3 minutes to go. I don't think anyone was feeling confident at that point. Brunson had a rough stretch in the 4th and then turned into captain clutch as he typically does

it was brutal. epically brutal.

knicks came in up 11 and went down 7 with a few mins left.

but at the end of the day the result matters. we can talk more about the rest later.

No cries about a push off either on that play Brunson just flat out juked him into the stratosphere with it...he got so faded he wasn't even in the picture anymore

Oh and can someone do a wellfare check on basketball Becky...she even allowed to talk ball anymore?

I predicted that we’d win in 6 so I feel a little vindicated. That said, I’m really not happy with the inconsistency of the refereeing. And I say that knowing that we got the benefit of that inconsistency just like the Pistons did. Inconsistent refereeing interferes with the flow of the game. It impacts the integrity of the game.

I only wish I could’ve had Clyde and Breen call the game on MSG instead of Ian Eagle/Grant Bill.

Hell yeah we did. If we can steal a game from Boston in the first two we can maybe put some pressure on them.

Each win we SQUEEKED by DETROIT with much less talent. We rely on ISO from Bunson.
Thibs on notice. If we can make a series with the Celtics, the FO won’t fire their friend Thibs.
I just don’t see Thibs raising his game suddenly.

I don’t want to read any more negativity here. Anyone who who spews hate towards the Knicks during the remainder of the playoffs shall be arrested and flown to El Salvador never to see your family or friends again.

I maintain that the refereeing hurt the flow of the game for us. We won despite getting the shyt end of the stick in that category IMO.

I’d be interested in seeing a review of the calls made by our refs during this series.
