KAT gotta listen to these old gees, Knicks haters or not they were the survivors from the 90s big men battles. Their requests on cutting dumb fouls are genuine and legit to make KAT an even better contributor to this team.

Yeah it's been good that Thibs has used more guys but he could still do better with combinations. Precious can help. I don't like the lineup with Kat and 4 guards including Hart. Precious could play there.

I'm worried that the win, plus Hart having a good last 4-5 minutes, will cover over the fact he was having a bad game and should play less. Thibs should dub guys in and out of the more more often .

Hart was fine except for the 3 turnovers. At least he had 4 assists.

I thought he was pretty bad till the last 4 minutes. Need to rewatch but a lot of posters thought so in game thread. Someone posted a tweet with a really bad on/off stat during the game

The Knicks have the formula to beat them now. The pressure will be on them. Halifraud should have never made the choke sign because every game
they dont close out or lose -makes him think- I cant choke. I will never hear the end of it.

I counted… Hart was more good than bad. But, he should be playing 25 minutes not 35 minutes. Thibs can’t help himself so I hope we get good Hart more than bad Hart.

Shamet was awesome today. He’s earned more time. Hopefully Thibs gives it to him.

All I know or care about is if the Knicks can win game 6, all the pressure is on Indiana. No team wants to be the one to blow a 3-1 series lead.

If Knicks can play harder than them again from opening tip off next game, then the light at the end of the tunnel gets brighter and brighter.

I agree about that if we can pull off a win in game 6. But that’s why game 6 is going to be tough. They knew tonight we would give them the best we had and now they can hope that our clip is emptied and they can bring all they have for game 6. It’s almost like a trap. How much do we have left? Boston had nothing for us in game 6 and we unloaded on them. Hopefully that isn’t the case but seeing how bad Indiana played tonight I think they will play a lot better next game. The question is what do we have left? Hopefully enough to get it back home but we will find out

Well this is why I was saying Thibs gonna have to keep dipping into that bench.

Every extra minute guys like Delon, Shamet, Precious can give you where they don’t hurt you defensively and you can surround them around Brunson or KAT, keeps them fresher.

It allows more rest and for them to have some of the pressure taken off them defensively (since our stars are bad defenders).

Hart has to have a shorter leash too if the is continuing to turn the ball over.

Coaching will matter in game 6. Even little things like how Thibs uses timeouts.

Well he has though. That’s what we’ve been doing, because we only use two bigs in KAT and Robinson we’ve been using different lineups trying to keep at least one of Brunson or KAT on the floor at all times. I think Brunson has played better with KAT on the floor than without him because of the spacing that KAT provides him whereas KAT has been able to just dominate and bully them. It also helps that when Brunson is sitting KAT gets a lot of touches and the offense goes through him so he’s able to have those stretches where he’s involved a lot more often.

Hart is essential though and I don’t understand the hate. I get being frustrated with the turnovers but Brunson commits bad turnovers too and it what it is. Even tonight Brunson was dribbling into a double team and turning it over. He basically cost us game 1 because of his crunch time turnovers. But as far as Hart goes he still does things nobody else does. Tonight he out rebounded everybody on the Pacers. He created many open shots for OG and Mikal who were awful shooting. I don’t like him matched up with Siakam on defense though. He will do some wild things good and bad but he still gets us running in transition, he plays really well with KAT especially when Brunson is sitting, he’ll attack the basket and often gets to the line, there’s a bunch he does well. Especially because we are now playing more up so KAT is not down there to rebound as much. We need those rebounds and he does a great job chasing them down. He also isn’t all bad on defense because there are times he will lock his guy up or make a big defensive stop as he did tonight. His versatility is essential to what we do.

Lets be real, we're not worried about Cap showing up. We need another strong performance from mitch, kat to limit the dumbsht, and a repeat of this defense.

Can never get an honest unveiled response out of this dude. Always some copy/paste general statement.

Just hold him accountable and say “Josh has got to do a better job with ball security. Let’s cut down on the jump passes and stay under control.”

Just once I’d like to hear a thoughtful response with candor from Thibs.

How can you explain this? "Just not him..." "the first open man...hit him".

He is the first and always open man, you **** idiot. He needs to tell his illegitimate son to attack instead of stopping in the paint and swiveling his head around while unguarded.

Josh is in the 99th percentile or something in finishing, yet he constantly stops 5 feet from the **** rim to find somebody and make a stupid jump pass while they're all expecting him to take it.

I shat on this guy starting in game one on opening night...said he belongs on the bench because he's a monkey wrench in the offense. Good to see people coming around and seeing how absurd it is to have this average role player play the most minutes in the league.

We won tonight because we finally pressed Haliburton. That's all it **** takes to bring this Pacers machine to a grinding halt, it's why I was so confident in them waxing these guys in 5 or 6, but this stupid coach let him walk up to their side willy nilly all series because when they pressed they were too tired to run offense on the other end.

If we come back and win, it's all because of Wright, Bridges and Shamet pressing on this fraud...one simple change is all that was needed. CONTINUE IT you ****.

He coached a great game tonight, and did it without being forced to, like foul trouble. Even then...Precious comes in and gives good minutes, continuing to make him look like a buffoon playing 7 players all season.

I would definitely avoid any minutes of Hart and Robinson on the floor together. There was a stretch when KAT had to sit and we brought in Hart and he was out there with Robinson and it was a disaster. Spacing was awful. If Robinson has to be be out there and KAT is sitting then Hart should probably be sitting too and someone else should probably be in there

Mitch just needs more minutes, I don't know why he only played 19 tonight, considering he dominated them.

KAT is gonna get his 20+ and 10+ boards, he's gonna have some dumb fouls. What we need more than anything else, is for Cap to make them feel what we felt after game 1, drive the knife through their hearts with one of his elimination game performances that let them know they're ****.

Thibs cutting starters' minute can unleash Bridges to have less calculations on his stamina and can stick closer to Hali. It's simple mathematics but it takes so long to dare to go for more players on the bench.

Hope it's not too late for this adjustment.

rewatching the game - and Mitch was an absolute force in the 3rd quarter. less than 6 minutes in and he has made like 5+ plays already whether it be blocks (at least 2), offensive rebound + putback, locked up turner on the baseline and forced a turnover. stopped a semi fast break with a deflection leading to a turnover. had a hustle play to stop a 2 on 1 fast break and committed the foul on bradley who seemed to get hurt on the play.

his screening on offense is also very impactful.
