Let’s say Giannis is out. Who would you trade KAT for?

I was groaning. He missed big shot after big shot.

Depending what we trade away, that would honestly be enough.

Jeffrey wrote:Look y'all ... getting Giannis might be a pipe dream because Milwaukee is looking to dismantle everything and do a total rebuild. They might not be interested in 4 years of KAT.

Phoenix on the other hand, cannot rebuild because of Booker and Beal's timeline. KAT for KD is doable here due to Phoenix unable to rebuild.

That’s why multi team deals exist tho…

I guess.. figured Phoenix is the best landing spot for KAT. Especially a relationship with Booker. A straight KAT for KD would be my target.

Im Coming Home wrote:This kinda reiterates my post from 2 games around being sad realizing that Brunson isn't the perfect player we thought he was. Idk if he's getting worse or we just didn't notice the flaws as much the first 1 or 2 seasons. I remembered him being much smarter with the ball than he has been this year.. idk what's up with the kid hopefully he fixes it next year...

Ugh.. back to "next year" hopes and dreams.
We ignored his flaws because we were hating Julius

If Milwaukee says they want Jalen for Giannis, you think Leon is saying "no"?

This team is being built around Jalen Brunson whether you like it or not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He took a “discount” so this team can be built around him and give the franchise the maneuverability to make moves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Leon rose is his **** god father!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He’s not going anywhere so get over it and stop with The bs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you replace Jalen with Giannis it's the same team but one guy(Giannis) is actually going to pass the ball.

I hope your joking man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You’re usually one of the best posters on this board!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But If you’re being serious it’s really disappointing to see!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I’ll take the bullet on KD. You get the shot creator that we badly need next to Brunson and he isn’t nearly as bad on defense as KAT

This team could seriously just run it back with a better coach and be a 55 win team and make it back to the ECF. We have a lot of expirings so just thicken up the bench a bit. Thibs gotta go. That's priority number 1.

Brunson played maybe the worst game I’ve ever seen from him. He shares this loss big time.

KAT was a soft loser as expected.

Hart was disgraceful.

That’s not a good season for me.

Team needs major changes. Major. End of story. I don’t want to hear about moral victories. You’re either a winner or a loser. We are a loser - and a loser who has been clowned by the same team two years in a row.

This wasn't the same team as last year, healthy or not.

Yup. Indy wasn't that good last year. They're really good this year, so . . . very different series. Last year we were clearly the better team. We were just really banged up. This year, hate to say it, but they were the better team.

Sure, if we would have brought back last year's Knicks we would have beat them. But while the Pacer's developed continuity, we brought back pratically a new band.

Depends on what you want to pivot to. Thibs is not the coach for KAT. Thibs is not the coach for the players we have.

It’s crazy man!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is Brunson perfect???!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Absolutely not!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

But he just brought us to ecf after 25years of absolute dog ****!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We don’t get out of the 1stRd without!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It’s really disgusting to see this Bs rn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Brunson as much as any Knick I’ve even seen but if it’s him or Giannis I go Gianni’s sorry. He had the opportunity fully in front of him and did not deliver. As much as I love Brunson I can’t be blind to what I just saw. He turned the ball over a ton. And his defense is a real issue. I love him but we have to be real here if we want to improve

Any combination of players that equal his salary that are not defense liabilities

Brunson

OG

I don't see those guys going anywhere, how do we improve the roster and get closer? Is another year of geling enough?

We absolutely have to replace Hart in the starting lineup with a better fitting player. A Herb Jones type? A PF that can move OG to the 3?

We also need to get minutes from the young guys. How good are they? Will Thibs play them? The salary cap structure necessitates production from rookie contract guys.
