Imagine RoLo suffered a bad injury this year and lost a ton of his value? Imagine the Knicks had trouble moving him for cap relief after that?

Let's stop worrying about Rose's injuries. They can happen to anyone. Don't care about the past as long as this guy feels as good and is as motivated as he says he is.

Yes and no. Maybe he just never told us he never planned to win a title with Rolo and a point guard who only played one good month.

Always thought the Triangle obsession by us was overrated. But I have to admit, he seems to be following a very different path now. Almost like Mills has taken a lot of power.

Do you really think Mills is that strong a guy? He doesn't seem to be, even if he's smart. I prefer to think when Phil chose Horacek, he decided to build the team that could win with this coach.

This is flexibility and creativity unlike what you'd expect from any experienced leader. Certainly not from a guy Phil's age. This guy is really something.

I'm honestly surprised OKC didn't work out something in a 3 way deal. That would've guaranteed them keeping KD if they would've acquired Jimmy Butler.
Pretty sure the assets they got for Ibaka (Oladipo, Ersan, Sabonis) plus Cameran Payne & another 1st probably could've got it done or came really close.

Watching Rose's introductory pressed right now. Forgot how mild mannered and soft spoken the guy is. Hopefully he learns that if you say something that's somewhat open to interpretation, the NY media will interpret it as negatively as is humanly possibly. He said he didn't know why he was traded but he wants to say thank you and several media members are acting like that's a shot at the Bulls. It wasn't. Dude is only saying he's glad they traded him to a great market and franchise.

Oladipo on a cheaper deal though. We don't know their finances. Maybe this allows them to resign durant and westbrook and eventually Adams. Unfortunately, not every owner is willing to have so many expensive players.

But yea, Butler would have been a nice get.

OKC really needs to add shooter or two.
