Its crazy we're giving up on felton after he basically shed his blood on the court for this team ..WOW
People seem to forget the litany of games he played with injuries....the guy came to work each day and never complained...
Sorry but I can do without Billups..

Chandler/ Gallo / picks/ curry for Melo should have been the deal...

He wasnt going to resign in denver, and no way that fool would accept a trade to the nets. He would be laughed at.

Because Denver would rather let him play the year out than just take Chandler and Curry and a first, and I don't blame them. I think this is Melo pressuring the Knicks into making a deal because he doesn't want to take less money to sign with the Knicks in the off season, he wants his money.

FYI, the trade is not unfair for the Knicks, you're still getting the best player and it's not close.

I'm hoping Melo says something to scare NJ tonight. Make a jersey joke on air.

Is this final? How credible are the sources?

gallo is better than fields but fields is better for this team. With amare and melo on the same team gallo would be regulated to a corner 3 point shooter which is not his game. He is a driver and play maker but we don't need that. Fields is a decent spot up 3 point shooter, guards 2 guards, and rebounds very well

I thought Billups wanted to retire in Denver........ How much could he possibly have left in the tank.

Can't have a deal unless both teams agree. Nuggets already not too pleased with the current one IMO

Is it really so hard to understand that Melo doesn't want to do to Denver what Lebron did to Cleveland? That he wants to give them a chance to negotiate a deal? Do you think Melo really thinks a championship in New York hinges on playing with Raymond Felton and Danilo Gallinari? It doesn't.

Says cavs are willing to take troy. Is this old? Or are they still talking with the nets too?

Yeah, he is terrible. He only leads the league in rebounding for guards and is third in FG% for guards and is shooting threes at a 40% clip. And was Eastern Conference rookie of the month like three times. Compared to Gallo's rookie year that's pathetic.
Play time is over.

I believe it is plain as day that Melo is not willing to take this to free agency. So that means we have to beat the Nets offer, otherwise the Nuggets tell Melo they couldn't get a deal done with us.

Basically, the Nuggets are now doing the Nets and Knicks dirty because Melo has made it clear he wants his scrilla.

we dont have to beat the nets offer clearly, cause we havent and its being considered.

and if thats the case and we're out of it, why wouldnt nj reduce their offer since then nj is in the driver seat?

i think melo would stay in denver versus going to nj

Yeah, but Chauncy can shoot. He could have a bit of a revival in the D'Antoni system.
