That's one reason why Felton is a good fit for us. He may not be the most talented PG or have the potential Lin has, but you know he isn't lacking in confidence as we saw Game 2 against the Heat this season.

I'll hang around for a minute more.. before I head to the gym.. do you want to talk basketball or do you want to talk speculation? Felton was absolutely embarrassed against Orlando in the playoffs.. way worse then Lin has ever been embarrassed in the league.. he looked terrible the year before against OKC... so let's not compare the two.

Y'all can sit here thinking we got some prime playoff performer but in reality we don't. Felton hasn't proved a damn thing in the playoffs so I would just stop.

no1 said that?

also at least felton is willing to play through injuries, that toughness counts

We are talking basketball...you're talking it personal like I insulted your child...and Lin has been embarrassed by the Heat numerous times, which is all that matters. Why would I or management have confidence that he would suddenly figure it out when it matters?

And yes, Felton always gets owned by Jameer Nelson. Fortunately we won't see him in the playoffs.

Again.. I've been through this debate... Melo was absolutely SHUT down by Miami last year.. he looked like a rookie.

His 3-15 performance in game 1 was a major factor as to why I started to move away from the narrative that Melo has what it takes to win a chip. Because he looked shook.

what debate?

im talking about having players who can bring it, and you are taking it to some other discussion?

melo has dropped 40 in the POs, Tyson and Kidd beat MIA in the POs, etc....

Melo didn't do jack s**t against Miami last year... he gagged on the free throw line and look scurred most of the time. If you want to talk about "melo needing players to bring it" you need to stop and just worry about Melo bringing it..

Lin is hurt by it at times, and alot of it stems from really not knowing the position he plays.

He needs a vet to work with him in practice and such one that plays patient composed.

If I were Houston I'd bring in a guy like Anthony Carter, someone who doesn't need game minutes but could work with him in practice.

You didn't read my post right... My reference to rose and westbrook was for my own personal coaching experience. it was a completely separate paragraph and was meant to have not one thing to do with any games tonight.

I did read it, I'm stating those two dont need that.

I'm just joking but you do live close to Houston right...

He's been embarrassed by Miami about as many times as many times as Melo's been embarrassed by Miami.

Felton looked like garbage against OKC also... Miami wanted to take the ball out of his hands tonight.. and when Miami wants to do something like I don't know.. front Melo and make him shoot bricks Miami does it.

Westbrook and Rose most certainly do need to learn how to change speeds.. and I'm not talking about going from first gear to second gear... they need to learn how to go to first gear... to third gear... down to second and then up to fourth. And I ain't setting foot in Texas.. good joke though.

Game 2 30pts/9rbs 12-26 starting backcourt Fields/Davis
Game 4 41pts/6rbs 15-29 starting backcourt fields/Davis
Game 5 35pts/8rbs 15-31 starting backcourt Fields/bibby

Oh and lets not forget that the entire defense was keying in on Melo.

ROFL at this ignoramus saying Melo was shook by Miami's defense just to give a free pass to overrated Lin. ROFL.

Why do you keep bringing up Melo? And Felton admitted the trade bothered him mentally. It also didn't help that George Karl brought him off the bench for Ty Lawson when he wanted to start. It wasn't professional of him to let something like that affect his play though, but it happened

Melo
Game 1 5 for 5 FT
Game 2 6 for 9 FT
Game 3 7 for 9 FT
Game 4 10 for 14 FT
Game 5 3 for 4 FT
Total 31 for 41 FT 76% FT

ROFL yes he did look shook at the FT line. ROFL. I think this guy loves embarrasing himself. IDK. All in the name of Lin.
