Only reason you take those picks is because it becomes an asset in a year or two if Jimmy/Boogie type of player becomes available. Mp and pooch brought that up to me.

Hell you may even deal KP and build on those picks including yours lol

those LAC picks are too far away...they'd be most valuable to me as trade chips for a disgruntled star or star about to leave their team in FA, and that's only if the Clips end up being that bad that they become premium picks

But Rivers is not garbage. He has gotten a lot better since he came into the league. He defends a bit and shots over 40% from 3. He is getting better and better and only 24.

Like young players OR expiring contracts OR mid-tier and picks.

I just don't think, as good as Melo is, the fact that he's older, under contract a few more years, has a NTC and has some defensive liabilities, just isn't bring back a large haul.

If the 2nd, then I think that would be the Knicks announcing they aren't giving him away and are looking for what they view as 1:1 exchange, value wise, with some scale giving value to picks, another talented vet, young players and expirings
