I am assuming most of us trust that Gaines knows what he is doing (obviously he isn't perfect but has a very good track record). If we trust he evaluates talent properly, wouldn't we be happy with whoever we pick? I can't fathom why a KP booing situation would happen again if he's ultimately the guy Phil listens to. It's not as if he will pick Frank over a guy like DSJ or Monk just for the hell of it. If he recommends Frank or Monk or DSJ, it's probably based on a hell of a lot more info and knowledge than we have. I'm just glad we are in the mix for any of these guys.

That whole "last game of the finals" nonsense took a little steam out of our draft bicker... uh, debates.

Now that that is over, looking forward to seeing this hit 100 pages by tomorrow. Let's go!

Yea at this point the debate is tiring. We're going to overrate and support whoever the Knicks choose, so being totally against any player is pointless.

True but on the other side of things...and we are getting these reports that top end picks like Fultz ,Ball, and Fox are not impressing during there workouts. That just adds to the unpredictable nature of this draft.

Draft is deep as hell. However im getting a feeling about Frank. Which means he may not even be there when we pick.Apparently we keep a lot of workouts secret. Why hasnt Isaac worked out for us?

im not even overratting monk. im actually not even his biggest fan. i was bashing him hard in the tournament. you're the one overatting frank like hes the next BIG thing. you compared him to klay thompson for crying out loud. you tried to say that since klay can drop 6 points in a finals game we could say he sucks just like how frank averages like 5 points. that's the worst comparison anyone can make for frank. especially when klay is one of the leagues TOP shooters, 3 time all star, 2 time all nba team. wtf has frank done to earn that comparison? a rising star award? LOL

i like monk and smith more than frank. deal with it. and don't say that BS im " too sure about their futures". you clearly didn't read my last post

Euh no, the next big thing is your words, not mine. I never say that  I just say he's has more potential than just to be a 3 and D, that's your conviction not mine and sure I saw more frank's game like yours.

And once again I just compare klay's role in NBA finals than frank's role in french PO ( defend against the best opponent) to say numbers are not important when you have a role in a team. Never say frank is a future klay. It's totally two differents players  You need to understand the difference or not interpret...

You like monk smith or other I have no problem with that but stop to troll about frank, just a 3 and D... If scouts and insiders think the same, he could be never top 10 in majorities of mockdrafts but top20-25. So maybe you know nothing about him, maybe you afraid because he's european, his numbers ( because it's important here for some people, more than impact on the floor) or what you want, but clearly he have more potential to be better than a 3 and D. So please not interpret this sentence like "the next big thing" :P .

As much as I love the possibilities of Isaac and KP I would have to leave Willy at C and KP and PF and draft Frank.

Something about Isaac just doesn't feel right. Most likely will be picked before us anyway.

I would love to find a way to take Jordan Bell or Bam later on, so we could have a more athletic/quicker front line and a well rounded rotation...think those guys would fit well in the rotation

Obviously Calipari wants his guys drafted high, but you can't deny he has produced some ridiculous NBA level talent. Those Kentucky players usually pan out in a big way. I've always said I would be ecstatic to get a guy like Monk.

Not gonna lie.. the thought of Monk lighting it up at the Garden sounds really fun. With he and KP it would be bombs away from 3. Just need Monk to bulk up a little so he doesn't get too bodied on defense. The effort is there, though.

First off, Cal always big ups his guys. Now, I agree with this. The guy is explosive in transition and NYC likes a little style in their ball. I cant imagine if we had Steph. That being said, I agree with Cal's statements.

However im not only for highlights and high scoring. I need this pick to be a game changer. We are rebuilding on the fly. (Melo is still here). This pick needs to be legit.

He's perfect next to guys like KP and Towns. He can spread the floor for them to go 1 v 1 and play defense. Strikes me as a super role player rather than the guy.

Sigh
I never said he doesn't have the potential to be more than a 3 and D guard. Read my previous posts. I clearly said he could be the Kawhi/Giannis of point guards. Will I bet on him reaching that potential? Nah.

He's a 3 and D guard RIGHT NOW.

And frank wouldn't be able to produce numbers even if he was asked to. His raw offense is blatant
