Even if you are a delusional dude like Kanter, why would you throw another NBA player under the bus to prove your point?

I'm glad he got dismantled.

i generally like kanter as a person, but wtf there?

Hope he lands in SAC if they can't get some other tier 2 stars. I think they should go after Middleton and Harris.

Fox
Hield Bogdan
Middleton
Harris Bjelica
Bagley Giles

Maybe get a back up PG with an exception.

I disagree. I think the upside is huge!

Possibly. I think Tobias is a nice player. In another context, I'd be thrilled the Knicks got him.

I'm not sold on D-Lo, but I'll stay true to my stance on young players - they take 3 and 4 years to fully develop and all have different growth rates, in terms of when they come into their own. It might be DLo's time. It would be a hell of a risk, but keeping Frank, adding Covington - that's a nice young team with some defense on the roster and some well rounded offensive players too.

It's actually interesting.

Total or average?

huh? two 20 point scorers with the 3rd pick, a potential future DPO and a current top 3 wing defender.

Cut the KD convo short and give the keys to Kawhi + Kemba, instead.

"You two can bring a title to NY, which would be absolutely huge in the grand scheme of things. You both have some roots & love with the NY area. Our cupboard is full of youth and picks and we can potentially add more help via trade or free agency next season. And we could give you the coach you want. Lastly, your marketing and investment opportunities would explode in NY."

Mitch, Knox, Kawhi, RJ, Kemba

Trade DSJr, etc. for more win-now guys.

yes I think it could be something. Dlo and tobias' shortcomings on D would be covered perfectly with Mitch, Frank, Cov.
just a thought...

I'm all for the baseless speculation about the Knicks.

Lets talk about another thing near and dear to our hearts. What teams would you like to see most screwed over in FA, both long and short term?

My list:

Boston
Lakers
Houston
Nets
Mavs

That's a pretty good list. I know it's not popular, but I like Tatum, Hayward and Brown as players and it's hard to root against them especially now that this moron Kyrie leaves them.

i like this list.

i actually don't need to see the nets screwed.

i'd also be highly amused by the collapse of golden state. like, if both KD and klay left. then dray at first opportunity. then dorito ankles just ride it out on a bad team until retirement. or better yet, become a washed journeyman the kids don't remember.

Help me understand why you guys are giving up on 19 year old Knox after one season! John Calipari told us from jump that it will take 3-4 years. Please don't let these guys leave us and turn into stars. Let's develop some for a change

Here's an opinion. This post sucks.

Spoiler:
:D Just kidding! Eh - good player, but would need a lot of $ and doesn't fit the Knicks in terms of where they are in their rebuild - ie securing that dynamic perimeter player first, which the NBA has mostly always been about, but especially last 20 years
.

IMHO, I don't want KD, Kyrie nope, KL def yes. Vuc,Mitch and Knox up front, not a bad front line. get KL and whoever starts in the backcourt, impressive starting 5. IMHO

Yea. Plus I heard he was a football player who turned to basketball.

So he's gonna be a late bloomer for sure. Seems like everybody knows that. Even Mitch with the way he was destroying him in that Knick video.

Kind of why I had them low. Boston is self explanatory as a Knicks fan. Lakers are a little high, but I'd like to see their plan for a 3rd max cat blow up in some way.

The team I really want to see miss out and be hamstrung long term? Houston.
