wont I don't buy is there are no counters in the triangle. I think we just didn't have the continuity in personnel to understand the counters. Like for example if teams were denying certain passers I would watch the bulls and lakers and there multiple back door cuts for teams over playing initial passes in that offense. The Knicks players weren't either smart enough or had enough time together to think and act on the same page.

That is why I can understand Melo's claim that phil needed to coach to get those points across.
