post game - that sucked

I'm not sure who's fault it is, but when Rose, Randle and RJ not necessarily last night since RJ was awful, but there's no reason not to run p and r with rose and Randle with RJ spotted up in the corner for a 3. It's basically unstoppable, because a defense can't defend all 3 options, rose drive to the hoop, a roll or pop from Randle and cover RJ in the corner on the 3 who's been lights out from that spot for a long time, especially in late game moments when the defense has clamped down and the knicks use way too much iso Randle, which leads to poor shot selection

if Randle had the ball and got triple teamed you know he would’ve hit the open man too. rj folded

well, last night it would have most likely resulted in RJ left open. if i'm picking a shot, that's the one.

there was a guy who hit 3 out of 4 from out there when RJ and bullock couldn't hit the broad side of a barn... :dontknow:

a guy they actually didn't cheat off of...

yes, as i said not counting last night, but RJ is shooting prior to last night nearly 49% from 3 for an extended stretch, so I like his odds of making the corner 3

umm... love randle... dubious came out a couple times when it mattered.

not blaming him. he's our star. but i wouldn't have called the pass a given last night.

and both things are true. maple mamba had nothing last night. gonna be hard to win when both he and bully come up flat. i guess the bright side is how close we came despite.

Thibs lacking creativity on offense has been a criticism since his first season in Chicago, as his lack of adjustments in his rotation.

lakers defense was excellent in crunch time. there wasn't an easy pass to make anywhere. that clip that showed the poor spacing out of that inbounds pretty much sums up how the team didn't help itself.

even the pnr with rose and taj was not what i would have wanted. it was randle's game to win or lose. get him the ball.

there was a game not too long ago where Randle was playing horrible and he made some huge plays hitting RJ for clutch 3’s. think it was against Memphis. i trust randle in the clutch to make good decisions, despite how good or bad he is playing. should’ve just gave him the ball period

RJ should have been the last person to take that considering how bad he was all game but let's not act like Randle didn't have multiple chances to seal the game

There was nobody open. The spacing fell apart. Nothing anyone could have done at that point except throw up a low percentage prayer. I would have rather Randle thrown it up, but we lost the game before RJ got the ball with 5 seconds left

burks & quick being out has exposed how limited we are offensively. maybe rj will grow into a guy who can create for himself one day and maybe not. but you can't plan around it. you need to go get someone. right away.

Did anyone else like the show of faith in RJ from Thibs? Putting Frank out there instead would've probably helped our chances of victory given how poorly RJ was shooting last night, but Thibs stuck with his struggling young star and showed his confidence in RJ.
