Oddly enough, the Bad Boys team was kind of like that too.

i'm not wingo's age so i'm not super familiar with 80s teams. but weren't most of them 1 star teams except for the lakers with kareem and magic.

Mchale was nice but was he a star? Dumars was nice but he wasn't really a star either, eh.

And now Kyrie and Durant play increased minutes at playoff intensity. Nets still have a great shot, but at least they have now taken a hit like the rest of the field.

they still have the best pair in the playoffs. they still are the frontrunners WITHOUT harden.

I think without Harden the Bucks are the favorite in this series. The Nets big two playing heavy playoff minutes is a big deal to me, and the Bucks have the better defense (of the ever style in, who knows).

I'm definitely not saying that the Nets are somehow a borderline playoff team without Harden or anything.

Bucks are Knicks level cold shooting in this game. It's depressing. How do you get shook by this atmosphere?

I just can't bring myself into trusting Middleton against Kyrie or KD in crunch time of a close game.

The point is more that they didn't really have a star on that level and had to go through Bird/Magic/Jordan during their run. It was more of a committee effort, even though Zeke was the head. Dumars, Laimbeer, Rodman, Agguire, and before that Dantley were all all stars at some point.
