True.

We still have a very good Euro, Rokas, that we can bring over if need be. Or trade for additional assets.

We just beat up on half the league this month. Our bench really stepped up when it looked bleak at first right after the trade. We all know what we could use to tighten up our roster for the playoff run but, we do have to wonder how we are going to hold down the fort waiting for our injured guys to get back. I love what we saw the last two games from our bench. I also know we beat up two trash teams. Whatever they do I just hope it helps us against the better teams in the league.

Being the three seed threatening the 2 seed really is leaving me wanting more. It would be a shame to slide back down the ladder after how far we have come. It's a great time to be a fan but, the injuries are killing me right now!!

We could always pick up Fourniers option too. Getting paid $19mil isn't bad for him

I feel like that's rude.

Right? I'd even allow a clause in the contract that would allow a daily 5-10 minute phone/zoom call berating me. I'd be walking out of work meetings like "sorry, the guy who's paying me 19 million dollars is calling to insult me. Back in ten."

I do think Evan wants to play though. And I don't think we'll just keep him around. This summer and next are gonna be $$$ for the franchise. We'll be back among the top salary teams in no time.

I hope Tom realizes how he can use Precious in certain matchups, like against the Heat you could put him on Bam with OG on Jimmy and switch on screens. And ultimately against Giannis he's done really well against him in his career.

Feels like he’ll be a lockup candidate 3-4 years if he continues to show this defense and rebounding

Knicks has his Bird Rights so they can match any offer when he hits RFA. If he continues to play like this then yeah he would be an excellent lockup candidate as he can backup both positions, plays a very NY style and offsets both Randle's lack of defense and Mitch's lack of durability.

He's the first guy we've had that can guard wings and 4s and be a smallball 5.

Wonder if they can work out a one year deal to get bird rights and then a big extension after? Or something like that...

that's not allowed. he'd have to wait until the following offseason for the extension.

We don't need to extend him though. What we do is give him a full max with a year one opt out. Then he's a Bird player and we can go over the cap to retain.

correct. i shouldn't have said extension. i meant new full bird deal.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Sims can't guard wings or shoot the three though.

Why haven't you bums let my guy Buzz run the game thread more? He is clearly the reason the Knicks are on a role.
