1. Maybe. But randle's attitude just might be worse. however kat is better at literally everything that randle is good at.

3. Yes now. Not on Randle's next contract tho. There's a reason why he turned down the extension. Randle will likely want more than kat.

Is he really more versatile? Randle can at least move his feet and switch on to wings. KAT is stone footed. Teams targeted him the most in the playoffs than anyone else. Boston is gonna drive and kick on him all series long unless Thibs does a miracle on him.

More versatile in that KAT can play some drop coverage and guard the rim better...by no means do I think KAT is a good defender. I also think Randle can move his feet better...he just really never put much effort at all on defense. And I simply just don't think they believe they could get away with Randle at the 5.

Understand not being super high on KAT as I am not, but still a good trade for Knicks. And Timberwolves are an Edwards Gobert team now which is just awful

I like KAT in theory and I'll root for him. But damn, he was dumb as hell against the mavs last year. And minny gave up so much for gogurt to cover his weakness, then gave up on him with the addition of Naz.

so as much as people are killing KAT for playoff failures...he's been WAYYYY more successful than Randle in playoffs.

As good as he was against Denver he was way worse vs the mavs. He literally killed his team that series.

I just can't see a team with KAT as the 2nd best player winning it all. Especially if he is going to be our C. He isn't good enough.

Best thing Minny can do right now is possibly trade Randle for a few role players. Naz Reid should play alongside Gobert.

The stretch 5 capabilities, passing, and IQ. This has insane possibilities. Feel like we messed up a little chemistry but the fit is better.

Randle was on and off on his effort but he was never put on an island like teams did to KAT in the post season. He also thrived defensively at the 5 on the lakers, so I would’ve taken my chance. Another thing is that KAT struggled heavily against Boston too where as Randle destroyed them quite a few times already. So idk man..

its that age ole theory....if they didn't have KAT they don't get passed DEN. So yeah the longer you play in the playoffs the more scrutiny you get but you can't argue Minny would have got to WCF without KAT.

Deuce is one of the most team friendly deals in the L. He is nice. Donte will not be missed. We have mikal.

Better to remember him foundly for this past playoff run than watch him be petty pablo the rest of his career.

We need Mitch more than ever now because KAT is only successful playing next to a rim protector. Adding in Mitch is a bad move.
