Looks like like that Hyperbole that reporter was talking about with Carter before the last game got quieted real quick lol.
Personally I’ve thought he’s looked really good. A little bit of everything you’d want to see. Progressions, mobility, maneuvering the pocket, deep ball, etc.
He has missed some throws and they definitely seem to have simplified the offense a bit to be stuff he’s comfortable with but overall I’ve been really happy with what I’ve seen.
I don’t think he’s really played any first teams, maybe 1st team players mixed in with some 2nd team guys. He goes in right after Russ.
The OL has been pretty solid too so he’s not under duress too much which is something to consider as well. I’m interested to see him under pressure more.
This is how I feel. He has shown that he definitely can play but I'm in no rush to throw him into the fire. Let him develop and by week 7 or 8 depending on our record, give him a chance to show what he can do with the 1st unit.
