I know where this comes from, but I cannot share that opinion. That Haliburton part, we’ll have to do that ourselves and I hope we do.

Personally, the one player I can root for the most in these Finals is Siakam. But honestly, I don’t care who wins, I may not even watch all the games.

I'm gonna rage watch. Put Hali in the Dorture chamber and suffocate Siakam on his drives with all those slappin' hands and this can/should be a 4-0 sweep. OKC gives up three's and IND is a good shooting team so there could be one game where IND shoots like crazy. Hopefully not though.

I know Carlisle is going to try to try to make SGA's life difficult with full court shenanigans but those OKC cats are young. They're going to destroy IND in the paint. Obi and McConnell will be unplayable IMO.

I mean if he has 4-5 straight games like game 5 against us - I think the narrative will be he was overrated again.

But I expect OKC's gameplan to be to play him aggressively but stay home on others - essentially forcing him to be a scorer. So he might average 20ish but his assists will be way down with more turnovers etc.

yea that is the hard part for me. logically you want the pacers to look good to make the knicks look good by association. but emotionally I want them to get destroyed and not even look like they belong. I had a similar feeling last year wanting the celtics to destroy them (yea I know, shameful).
