And he missed almost as many games as Mitch over the last few years. Look that up Melo.

I don’t feel like looking it up. So I’m gonna stand on my agenda. 8-)

He’s prob going to the lakers I don’t think we are getting him anyways

I remember all hyped up and getting excited when we cleared salary for Lebron sweepstakes summer. Spent hours on these boards arguing who should be the second guy. Even though it was clear before the decision it would be Miami, we simply couldn’t believe it until he said it. That was 15 years ago. No reason the live in the past. We should just let it go

Looking at our roster, realistically we need at least one backup wing and one backup forward

We have 5 roster spots and only ~$12 million to go before hitting the 2nd apron. I mean, best case scenario, Kolek and Dadiet are good enough to play this upcoming year, then between Mitch and Hukporti you can get 82 backup C games, you still need at least one more impact bench player

I think a lot of people are gonna be disappointed when we just make a few small bench signings and don't trade for Giannis or sign bigger names.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

it’s the most realistic outcome really, we don’t even have the assets to pull off some of the big name moves without players specifically demanding to play for us

Ayton on the Lakers would be a disaster so I hope it happens!

Lakers need a rim running, lob threat and defender at that position.

Does this mean that if he's in a contract year he will give out peak performance? :D

10+ year min contract (3.3M while not counting against our cap?) centre is the way to go, I'm with you on this.

I won't. I think a new coach with a different mindset and running back with this roster is fine for me.

I agree. But I think Ayton is a variable lob threat. He isn't the others, though. Defense of Ayton, LeBron, and Luka together is just ... awful.
