Can't believe people are crying over 15mil for Noah. Lopez/$15mil/Calderon for Rose/Noah...propose that 6 months ago and there is no safe haven on this sight from the laughing and pointing. Now?

He is 3yrs off surgery, only 27yrs old and most importantly, on his contract year. Big year coming. Bulls fans who say not happening are jealous.

Not really true to the jealous Bulls fan thing. There was a large number of fans who wanted him traded because they think he is done, both physically and mentally. They don't think a big year is coming because they've been waiting for 2+years. They'd think the same thing if he was still on the Bulls. I've always been on the "give him one more year" bandwagon. I think he will be great this season. I hope he stays healthy for you guys. I think a change of scenery will do him well.

Also, on the free throw question someone else was asking, as some one who has watched every Bulls game the past 8ish years or so, yes, he was getting jobbed on free throws lAst season. It was hard to watch.

The guy is 27 this is not like getting 33 year old TMac. Rose will thrive. Im looking at his highlights and I can imagine us winning 50 games last year with him with how aggressive he attacks the basket. We need to sign some shooters. Its going to be a field day.

He tore his ACL and then hurt his MCL. Bulls fans should not have expected anything for at least 3-4 years.

ACL, then meniscus, not MCL.

ACL was torn 2011-12.

Missed all of 2012-13, came back for 2013-14, partially tore his meniscus, similar to the injuries Westbrook, Kemba, and Bledsoe had.

Rose had his repaired. Taking out the meniscus completely is a quicker recovery time, but could give you issues down the road (see Wade, Dwyane).

Complained of pain from his meniscus in 2014-15. Didn't miss any games from it until they decided to go in and shave it down. It was an outpatient surgery and he walked out of the building. Comes back before the playoffs, averages 20ppg and played probably his best ball of the season.

He's going on 3 years post ACL, so I think he's fine now. He will miss games here & there with hamstring issues because that all ties into your knee, but I think his days of major injury are basically over. This will be his best year since 2011-12.

If Phil thought Shump was injury prone, what should he feel about Noah?

Unless this is a friendly deal for the Knicks, please pass.

I like that Rose is doing a lot of yoga which could reduce chance for future fiber tears.

Yup plus that is one thing he and Clyde have in common. I hope they are open to working together, because there is a lot he can still learn from one of the best to ever do it. I know people hate Isiah but he is in the building too, and if he is willing to work with Rose that will also be great.

The only thing I would say about Rose is he doesnt get to the line like he use to. I think that will come back with time. He has Melo and KP so far to carry some load.

Rose has a relationship with Isiah. Obviously they're both from Chicago, but Derrick has said he looked up to him and tried taking parts of his game and adding it to his.

Derrick got in touch with him after the 2011-12 regular season ended. He asked what it took to lead your team to the championship as a PG (IT was the last PG to lead his team in scoring & win the title). Here's the article if you guys want to take a look. I think the Bulls could've won the title that year had Rose not got injured.

And a chance to pick the brain of a Chicago born Hall of Fame PG should be a blessing for someone with such a Chicago connection as Rose. I feel like despite the cracks NYers have for Isiah, Rose would find it comforting.

If he can get his "star" reputation back then he will start getting the calls. The only way to do that is if Knicks starts winning games.

Rose's decreased FT attempts is not due to a loss of star power. It is because he actively avoids contact.

In that role, working with guards and particularly our stars, I can see Zeke doing well. No where near the front office please.
