Seems like it *could* be an attempt to stir up a story. Maybe there's some truth to it, but until I get a good source, there is nothing here.

Yeah Brian Windhorst is a terrible source.

Show me where Windhorst said anything. Give me a link, a quote, anything.

Until you have a source, you got nothing.

As I said on a local sports show BW said he is 100% sure Lebron is re-signing and that he had never been totally confident until now because of something he heard. There is no link I am aware but it was discussed on RCF. Sometimes local tv shows don't have links to them.

There won't be an extension until the off-season numb nuts.

Thread title should be changed to "News of Lebron planning to stay in Cleveland"

If the Cavs lose, he's going to look to leave. If they win, he probably stays. Nothing has changed.

But don't forget about the inside info, whether it's extension new contract whatever it is. Be detailed on how it all comes into place.

Didn't you report a while back, last off-season, that LeBron was going to sign an extension? You said the same damn thing. That you had sources guaranteeing it. And now you're saying the same thing.

And you're reporting it here instead of on the Cavs board. This is really nothing.

The audio link stated what most thought would happen along with Cavs fans in that he would sign a 3yr contract. He'll be 28yrs old and then we may have a chance for him then. The main thing is how many titles will he have won by then?

Do you want the name The Bluest? After we ban him from the boards, his username will be available. Let me know.

Makes no sense signing an extension when he has the chance to rock the world in New York.

Yawn. Get back to me when he signs. Until then, you're just the fan of the team that is about to lose a great player. Sorry to be harsh, but this story is fictional. LeBron is not committed to Cleveland and he's not signing an extension now and maybe ever.

You've already published one false alarm using the same "source" you had last season -- which was wrong!

I'm not impressed.

No deal. But the good news for you is that even after LeBron signs with the Knicks, I'll give you The Bluest if/when he's banned. It will be your consolation prize for losing LeBron ;)

Bosh would still be a worthy prize - but I simply can't see him leaving Toronto without a sign & trade. He's not leaving $30 million on the table. If they'll take back Lee...ok. And who knows what kind of leverage Toronto will have this summer.

Yawn... Everything you post is fictional and made up in your own head. Most of the posters here know that.

Can you honestly see David Lee agree to sign in Toronto? He'll have other options.

OK guys, I checked with my source -- yes I have multiple sources -- and there is nothing final or even imminent here.

People in Cleveland think he's leaning towards staying, they're optimistic -- but there is no extension coming and LeBron will not deal with the issue until after the season.

The source says there is certainly still a chance he leaves, despite the fact that they feel more confident as the season has gone on. Primarily there are two reasons: They're winning a lot of games and the Nike deal did not have a NY preference.

The LeBron-o-thon continues. So I guess that means I win my bet. That was fast. Should I ban Notorious23?!?

The only reason it's $30 million "on the table" is because Toronto can offer an extra year. If Bosh finishes up 5 years with New York and then signs an extension for a 6th year, he would make close to about the same money than if he stayed with Toronto.

duetta, I suggest you read the recent Larry Coon article the money "on the table" assumptions.

I won't be banned as long as I don't violate TOS and I haven't done this.

All it takes is one knee injury, and his earning power is dramatically diminished - not to mention a draconian new CBA.
