Not really... I mean the site is RealGM...

Obviously we don't _really_ know how any of these guys will project but that is the point of scouting. We are trying to compare our respective scouting abilities... what we think of dudes now... so we can compare notes as we actually do start to see things.

Mozgov is another young prospect that you guys overrate

I think it might get compounded by his range. He's not a chuck and duck center. Either his game, or his PT, might get queered by 'Antoni. I think he's a very sound center, especially defensively. But his limited range isn't going to win him points with 'Antoni. Yes, he's wildly overrated by some here... but that's what we do around here. Good prospect, much less 'stiff' than Jerome Jordan. But still lots of work needed.

I'm not saying he's not good, but come on, you guys are saying you would pick him over the top prospects of this draft without him playing a single game in the US. But lets see, i would love to see Mozgov become better than any of these players.

I said only Monroe because I don't know enough about the other guys, no1 is a sure thing, and our biggest needs are C and pg. None of those guys are going to be superstars aside from monroe maybe. Had you thrown in Bledsoe, i would have him above Mosgov. I just see them as too equal at this point

The top prospects in the draft wasn't included in this poll. If John Wall, Evan Turner, Demarcus Cousins and/or Wesley Johnson were included then you'd see a different tune. The only guy that was actually in this poll that would be considered a top prospect (Monroe) is also the only guy that most people have said they would take in exchange for Mozgov.

Mozgov has been talked about as a lottery pick had he been in this draft.

DX (generally considered the top draft/prospect site) also had him rated as the no.1 international free agent. He did extremely well in FIBA play including against a US team consisting of guys better than the guys listed in this poll. He's 7'1", 24 years old, is extremely athletic for his size, plays hard, runs the floor, etc. What do you want?

And what are these other guys going to do or have shown that makes it so funny that people would rather Mozgov than most of the other guys in this poll?

Wow, you think that highly of the Nets' pick, huh?

But that's exactly it... the level of competition in college ball is not what dudes are making it out to be.

Wall, Cousins and Turner would have been top 3 on my board if it helps.

But yeah some people just has a strange (IMHO excessive) infatuation with lottery pick almost as if being drafted in the lottery somehow validates that a player is going to be a sure thing.

The reality is that very few players are sure things or even near sure things and none of those guys in the poll qualify as either. Monroe might be the closest, which is why I'd imagine he had the highest vote in the poll.

For me, I just imagine the Mozgov that most of us have seen up close during FIBA play actually playing college ball and WITHOUT A DOUBT he'd be a lottery pick...hed find it easier to score, he wouldn't be asked to play a role, hed be given more freedom to do his thing and hed look like a monster.

im only 100% dealing Monroe thats the only one i wouldn't hesitate about doing...Cole i would have to look way more into it, he seems like more of a half court center and Xavier Henry i mean he just hasn't impressed me he didn't in college and id rather a legit 7 footer who can actually keep up with our system then a 2 guard, were we potentially have that in Azabukie or maybe even fields or if Galllinari is put there

YES...he does not need the ball to be effective. You NEED a guy who does the little things: Box out. Set a Pick. Force the D to collapse. etc...

People were scared off because they thought he would have a crazy buyout perhaps
