6 games into a season with barely any training camp at all and 2 preseason games...Let's give it sometime. Also, You do realize this roster is pretty much new from what he played with all of last year...

Amare for Pau ... let's do it. He would fit in sooo nicely with Tyson & Melo.

i'd do it too. basically any four with half a brain and a post game would make me happy. the lakers might be crazy enough to do it because they wanted kevin love for pau.

Taking 3's, playing terrible defense & having zero BB IQ has nothing to due with a shortened training camp.

However true this may or may not be, this is the exact line of thought that has held previous teams captive in mediocrity and mid-lottery hell.

It is my belief that trading Amare will only create a better overall team and net more wins, without the empty stats.

I'm not basing my opinion to trade him on tonight; it has been crystal clear to me since last year that him & Melo don't mesh.

exactly. the lack of chemistry and the lack of intelligence out of amare makes it hard for me to see how this team could work.

Really, I see the same three knicks day in and day out, that play bad D, Fields due to him being limited physically. Melo as he seems lazy and doesnt move his feet right. Amare who is straight up isnt even tryin, dude singlehandingly made tyler hansborough look like kareem last year, and this year he already made bass look like Hakeem and Mullins look like Dirk, he is like AIDS he makes the whole defense look bad by not boxing out, and not rotating.

This sums it up. You can't have your 2 franchise players as one-dimensional offensive minded players; Melo gets away with it because he is simply scary on offense. As much as I'm not a fan of Melo, we need to build this team around him if we want to win & I'm sorry but that means trading Amare. And please ... let's not compare trading Amare to trading Ewing back in 2001.

i would do amare for scola straight up . .. maybe. scola is kind of old though. i would target bargnani because he's younger and he and melo can both play inside and outside.

There is absolutely no way in a million chances that the Raptors trade Bargnani for Amare ... you would have to throw in Carmelo.

Besides, Toronto is waiting to team Bargnani up with the 7 ft Valanciunas next year.

Hes been making 3s tho. U shouldn't have a problem with him taking them either if its within the flow of the offense. It won't stop him from being the same aggressive player. If hes out by the perimeter because he's trying to spread the offense...takes it when its there...you cant knock him....he's not going to go from the 3pt line to the rim without someone getting in his way.

His bb iq isn't the highest and hes definitely not a great defender. But thats not his strength. He can improve in those areas though when the team gets better chemistry. He's missing the knowledge of where to be on defense and how to find his shot within the offense....this is largely because the team isn't used to each other. No training camp!

Taking 3's in the flow of the offense is fine. I agree with your points on Stat ... I just think his skill set would be better suited with another team. He simply doesn't fit here with Melo.

Hey now...don't diss Bargnani! He's been nasty this year.

His hustle only 'looks' fake and awkward.
