I have no idea what we could trade them unless hey were interested in something like

butler, Bledsoe and Jordan for Tyson

Pretty sure we'd have to add Shumpert.

Tyson/Shumpert for Bledsoe/Jordan works and I'd do it.

Shump has already had 2 major knee injuries and another scare in the playoffs -- he's a nice player but his offense is very erratic --- don't want to overreact to game 6 with Shump.

Making this trade allows us to pick up 5 or 6 years of youth between Chandler and Jordan --- Jordan also provides more rim protection than Tyson -- although Jordan comes with his own issues (free throw shooting to name one).

Key for me is taking a young PG over a young SG -- particularly when it's likely JR will be back -- Kidd is still signed, Felton often plays the shooting guard role and we could also add a veteran SF if needed.

Give me Bledsoe -- start him with Felton and I think we are better.

no we most certainly do not trade Shumpert... Dude is very promising and he has a bright future... He is becoming a good 2 way player and right now he is like a mini Paul George. He just needs more NBA experience under his belt and this playoff run was great for him for the future.

We must somehow unload Amare this summer, that is #1 priority. We need to get rid of Novak, Camby somehow, Kidd, White, and maybe even Chandler. We need a hybrid center that can space the floor and shoot ala Chris Bosh or Marc gasol(not saying we will get these guys just a example) IF the trio of Amare, Melo and _______will ever work. Having two guys like Chandler and Amare on the floor is a pretty terrible combination

Name centers who fit that mold that are not Bosh or Gasol

Well, theoretically, the other Gasol probably can fit somewhat that role. Not as a standstill jump shooter but as someone that can actually be a threat to score so the opposing team has to actually cover him. If the Lakers are looking to move Gasol, to save some money and get a little younger, it's possible for the Knicks to get a 3 way going where they basically replace Chandler with Pau Gasol.

No. While I also saw his production in the semis and overall this season, he is still an incredibly valuable player. Even without the numbers and even with the lackluster play I'd keep him no matter what. Gasol next to Chandler, that should actually be the goal.

Gasol, Millsap, Jefferson, Derrick Williams, Josh Smith, Amir Johnson,Taj Gibson... Any of that happening? No. John Henson, Trevor Booker or Jason Thompson next to Chandler maybe?

EDIT: Chandler for Monroe...
or what about a frontcourt of Chandler AND Bargnani? or the more I think about it.. Chandler for Amir and Bargnani?

Bledsoe is a small two/combo. He'll never be a point...

Not knocking him cuz I really like his game but he's not an NBA point guard.

Are we talking about the same Shump who has to look at the ball when he dribbles, who has very sloppy handles, can't make a lay-up and has ZERO in-between game?

I love Shump - he's a good kid - he works hard and defends - yippie.

But he hit 3 3-point baskets and everyone is making him out to be the 1st year Landry Fields. He's also scoring against SF's or being left open --- he has little ability to break down true SG's let alone PGs in this league. Let's not forget the 2 major knee operations and the fact he dissapeared in at least 2 games during this series with another knee ailment.

Anyone remember game 4 in Indy or are we just remembering the 3 shots from game 6?

Him being a better PG than Bledsoe has nothing to with with game 6, and everything to do with Bledsoe being a god-awful PG.

Bledsoe is an undersized 2. Shump has better instincts at the 1 than Bledsoe does. Neither will ever be the main playmaker for a winning team.

I remember people were sucking his dick to come here

People have to get it through their thick skulls that just because you "make the right play" doesn't mean jack sh*t. We need scoring not a team full of Hoosiers basketball.

Bledsoe is a better PG now.
