Even Isiah knew enough to attempt to protect picks (as he did with the 2nd Marbury pick). If only he had done so when attempting acquire a player whose team's was pushing him to retire, due to what was suspected to be a debilitating cardiac condition.

At this point, outside of Texas, Shumpert has negative value.

Omg id do that deal in a second.

Rondo/JR/Green/Melo/Tyson?

if you're going to go after rondo, you might as well go after kyrie. younger cheaper shoots better. that's the only way that I'd part with a future first. the only way.

Most I'd offer is Shump, Hardaway, top-5 protected pick.

New York could package Amare Stoudemire's contract as well as a young talent like Iman Shumpert or Tim Hardaway Jr. They could also take back long-term contracts from Boston, providing the Celts with salary cap relief, but even that seems unlikely to convince GM Danny Ainge to deal his franchise star and the Knicks' lack of draft picks hurts the odds of any such deal. A deal for Rondo may be wishful thinking, but it seems the Knicks will be buyers at the deadline as they look to pacify Carmelo Anthony and make a playoff run.

this is not an article about Rondo. This is an article about the NY Knick FO's desperation and the carnage yet to come.

I'm not trading Hardaway. The knicks would just have Rondo, Melo, and JR and nothing else if this happened

Next year yeah, if Woody is gone and we sign good bench guys.

I don't see any scenario in which we get Rondo and Jeff Green tho. We'd have to take back Wallace and Humphries and give up picks for that

Well this is assuming rondo is back to being rondo.

Rondo
Jr (would rather have him off the bench honestly)
Green
Melo at the 4
Tyson

I think that team is damn good especially In the East.

If playing at their potential then they can win a chip.

Rondo can get the team out in transition and play perimeter defense which are two of our biggest problems

Always expect the worst. I have a feeling THJR is gone and it won't be for Rondo but some other scrub.
