I don't blame Marbury. He was probably a Lakers fan growing up like the rest of the country outside of Boston was.

But...but...he's from Brooklyn!

I can only hope all three teams pass on Towns or Okafor so the Knicks can get a big man.

Saving money on big men is crucial in cap management.

It's interesting how ESPN brags that it's a point guard league. Not the first era to say it. Francis, Marbury, Iverson were supposed to herald that era. Didn't really go that way. Chris Paul, Derrick Rose, John Wall...not feeling it but Curry looks poised.

Towns & OK4R will not be available at the #4 pick just because everyone is conscious of the Knicks needs and I believe they take that into consideration (no matter how much) whenever we are a factor in anything regarding basketball. Don't believe it, just ask yourself when was the last time someone did us a favor on a trade............into can't remember any time that has occurred.

it is delusional to think teams will draft with the knicks in mind. they are drafting for themselves.

it was preposterous in 2009, and it's preposterous now.
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

No sir! Steph was a huge Knick fan growing up. That's one of the things that made his tenure here so tragic.

I want Mudiay but i dont think Phil will take him. Therefore I'm hoping the LAL do and we can then get Okafor or Russel. Both of whom i think Phil picks. I really dont want WCS at all.

Sam Hinkie will throw a wrench in it.

He's a bigger and stronger Monroe on a better contract. He's not a tweener positioned guy like Monroe. May not be good defensively but at least he'll have the size and strength to play C. Monroe is not big or strong enough to defend the paint and he's not mobile enough to defend away from the basket.

It wouldn't surprise me BUT....

There's ALWAYS a team that takes Darko over Melo....

Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan...

Greg Oden over Kevin Durant...and in the SAME draft, Yi Jianlian OVER J. Noah.

I mean, the list goes on and on...

So I think the Knicks are in a GREAT place to add a solid player in any capacity.

Or we could be that team :-/

Weiss over Artest
Hill over Derozan / Lawson / Holiday
Shump over Jackson / Faried

Then we get Russell, who I am higher on anyway. Phil too, for that matter.

I prefer Mudiay or Russell - then Towns - then Okafor I guess but I hope not - no Winslow, no one else really

Other than Weiss over Artest, the other ones aren't that bad. It's not Balkman over Rondo or Lowry. Even then, its late picks. At least Hill and Shump are servicable

Forgot about Balkman! Ugh the worst. Why does Zeke get so much credit as a drafter? Dude drafted Frye over Bynum, Nate over Ellis, and Balkman over Rondo. His two best picks were Ariza and Lee

When compared to the rest of the Knicks Presidents/GMs of the past 15 years he looks like a rock star... and lucked out twice. In defense of our other horrible GMs and even our decent ones... Zeke at least had some picks.
