First, Lie. Pretend you're already successful wealthy and powerful. Music video and promotion companies already have hookers, houses, cars, and clothes available that you can use for photo shoots and videos. So they make it easy for you to pretend to be something you're not.

Second, say and do stupid ****. The dumber the better. Be annoying. People tend to pay more attention to and talk more about things that give them negative feelings. So if you say something stupid,... more people will talk about how stupid it was. And more people will tune in to see if it is really as stupid as everyone is saying. This will give you a following of "haters". Thats good. You want that. Its free promotion and eventually it will find its way to people who like it.

Third, Start a "beef" with someone who is established. Choose wisely. Someone who has a large following and is affiliated with other famous people works best. Make sure its someone who is on an equal or lesser level with your talent or the talent of your writers just in case in comes to songs. Fans just cant help themselves when it comes to "beefs".

Forth, call yourself the best. You can say you are one of the greatest of all time. The best new comer. The greatest. Top 10. That your album is the best ever. What ever it is, just make sure that you make the claim that you are in some way the best. For some reason fans cant help themselves with this either. The minute you make this claim, people are going to line up to buy your album. They're going to want to validate your claim. Most fans do not want to be disappointed. Most people wont admit they got

tricked out of money. So they're going to give you more credit than you deserve on initial reviews because you said you're the best. Even though you're not,... you'll end up being viewed better than you really are.

Fifth is the most important. Dont over complicate your music. Put all your effort into the above 4 steps. Make sure the music is very simple. Catchy and clever is more important than being creative. You want it to be simple to follow and get stuck in peoples heads. Think of a child singing the wheels on the bus. These are the songs that get the most air play. So its going to be important that you dont stray away too far from the way everyone else sounds. Remember, the music business wants more of the same. Not something different. Different flops more times than not. More of the same is the safest way to make money.

Kane... I got respect for you.. but this couldn't be farther from the truth.

Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Wale, Ab-Soul, Joey Bada$$, Mick Jenkins, Isaiah Rashad, and Vince Staples have substance / delivery / poetic skills.

If you're a gangster rapper type of guy YG, Kevin Gates, Jay Rock, and Schoolboy all provide that grit.

The only reason I respect him on the Mic. Cause my Fam Sean P respected him on the Mic. If Sean liked you, you could Rhyme for real. He shouted him out at the end.

Tony Yayo was trying to get Danny Brown signed to G-Unit at 1 point. 50 denied it because Danny Brown wore skinny jeans. lol

I rock with Joey. I met him mad times. But I have to give to some love to the Original Founder of Pro Era. Dyme a Duzzin. He lives next to my fam. Him and Steez started the Era...but alot of heads dont know the back story, and only ride with Joey. Cause he blew up first. Its why he called this the real Swank. Joey Got it from him.

Word. Dyme been going in since his parody youtube vids in high school. He, Steez & Eli (from Phony Ppl) used to be cyphering & throwing it online. I used to throw beats to Steez. Cool dude. RIP. But yeah, Dyme started Era & Phony PPl but decided to go different route. He still did music with Joey & the era though. Not sure what the deal is with Phony Ppl. Dyme also started chiefin that good & changed the way he approached music. Lol

Listen when your rock a perm in your hair, and be taking flicks with a side tilt. You come off girly to me.

The dude has bars, but I cant say he is a picture of masculinity.
